This company shipped me a suppressor without any baffles installed. I paid hundred of dollars for a steel tube. Then when I go to talk to someone at the company on the phone, they keep dodging my voicemails. It took me calling my gun store that I bought the worthless tube from, for them to call me back after my gun store called them to complain. Ali I got for compensation for this mountain of trouble was a lousy store credit of 50$, like I’m going to ever buy anything from Griffen armament again. One star is too much for a rating. Literally go with anyone else. Garbage company and garbage customer support.
valued customer –
I am quite impressed with the Optimus Micro and both .22 pistols, rifles and on the AR-15 it has done an outstanding job I highly recommend this silencer.

Well made product I bought for its size, yet delivers well for sound reduction. Great value.

nice can…not too big, not too small. not sure how it would work with the .223 but .22LR makes for some fun. 22/45 lite cycles fine with standard ammo (sounds like subs). 10/22 takedown cycles fine with standard ammo and the couple types of cci subs I’ve used (super quiet with the subs…all you hear is the action).

This thing is amazing. I bought it on the recommendation of my dealer as a versatile, multi-cal. option. It is heavy for a .22 can, but is very quiet on a 1″ Ruger MK4 host and Walther P22 host. Movie quiet. I have not yet put it on a 5.56 or 5.7 host. I am waiting on the 5.56 to compare it to my son’s OSS that is still in jail. My only issue is the weight, which really is nit picking. On the MK4, it balances it just like a 6″ bull barrel.

Very nice product it is great for my low caliber rifles. Only disadvantage is the threads are. A little bit touchy in installing the suppressor. That being said I really do like it. 162 days to get my stamp

This is a small but mighty gem! I use it primarily as an additional rimfire suppressor. I felt that it was probably too small to be effective as a 5.56 suppressor, but after using it on a 16″ 5.55 AR for cqb training, I was very pleasantly surprised how well it worked.

I have so far used this on two 10/22’s and a .223 AR. It has been phenomenal. I don’t even notice it out there on the end of the rifle. It does not heat up on the .22’s but gets hot with just a few rounds of .223. I also have a Bushwhacker 46 with a .30 end cap on it and can say that the Optimus Micro is louder than the Bushwhacker on the .223 but it definitely tones down the noise. I have not put the Bushwhacker on the .22’s so I can’t give a comparison there. It cleaned fairly easily and comes apart simply. It is slightly harder to put back together then the Bushwhacker because there are no notches that help it stack. The Bushwhacker has notches that help the baffle column stack and stay in place. I am very happy with the Optimus Micro, the ability to use it on the .223 is amazing. For reference I have ez brakes on both .22’s and a paladin 2 port brake on the .223. I have not tried it directly threaded.

I’ve used my Griffin Optimus Micro for over a year now on my ruger rifles and pistols and it is every thing it is advertised to be. With at least 3000 rounds of 22lr it’s been easy to clean and is quiet. I’ve been very pleased with my purchase from Silencer Shop beginning to end.

Quality made! Size was great, not too bulky. Money well spent.

Amazing, .22 only hear the bolt. .556 sounds like someone spitting. Love this . Only took 9 mos 3 days

For a 22 can, The Optimus micro works very well. When using it on 556 or even 5.7, it greatly reduces the sound output to much more tolerable levels, I decided to go with the taper mount and was a bit difficult to clean, but disassembly was very easy and no threads were filed up that I can tell.

This worked great out of the box and once I got it home, it was easy to take apart and clean.

Great little suppressor. I put it on a 4.6x30mm CMMG. While I have not tried it on a 5.56, I will say it is very quiet on that 4.6. Another great part is its user serviceable. This is a great feature. For 499.99 this little guy cannot be beat. Also SS worked quickly to get all my paperwork through. Great experience overall.

I used it for my Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 subs and supers, it sounded good.

I bought this for my Ruger MKIV Tactical. She is heavy with a bull barrel and the Optimus Micro balances very nicely using the included direct thread adapter. I am still waiting for Griffin to make more taper mounts so I have yet to try out this suppressor using a 5.56 rifle.
On my MKIV she is hearing safe with even high velocity ammunition like Fiochi Range and CCI Mini Mags etc. Using Federal American Eagle Suppressor and CCI Suppressor .22lr I get. Nice consistent whoosh. Every ammunition I have tried has run well and sounded pleasant. I did shoot a little from inside my house (I live on acreage in the woods) and I was very satisfied with the decibel level.
I would not run this on a MKIV Light or a Sig p322 because she is hefty using steel instead of aluminum or titanium.
Disassembled quickly and easily. Threading is sharp and crisp everywhere. The dual tapered end caps did not loosen at inappropriate times nor did they experience carbon lock after the first 500 rounds I fired during the first days excitement.
Fit and finish is excellent. Box and sticker goodies are a nice touch.
I would buy this suppressor again and recommend it to friends.

Excellent .22 can with the versatility of handling .223, should be everyone’s first can.

I’ve run several hundred 22LR rounds through this silencer, both HV and subsonic. The subsonic ammo is silent when fired, absolutely no sound. Naturally the HV ammo exhibits a sonic “crack”, but it is still quite a bit less loud than without the silencer. The silencer is very easy to disassemble and clean. It is also quite light and small in diameter. Overall a great purchase, and it is obviously very well made. I gave it four stars for value since I have nothing to compare it to.

This can is certainly a little bit heavier than a dedicated .22 system but offers so much more performance! Sound suppression is great and the customer service team at Griffen was helpful. Product came sooner than expected dude to back orders

This is my first can so I got one that fits my 5.56 sporting rifle and .22cal pistol.
It works great on both! I took it to an indoor shooting range and had a ball with it.

This can is very well built, and the sound suppression is great. Easy to disassemble and clean. Highly recommended as a rimfire suppressor, and the icing on the cake is its limited ability to be used on 5.56.
