The Barrett QDL Suppressor is in a class of its own – introducing a .50 BMG silencer engineered to improve sound and signature reduction while still maintaining its functionality and dependability. Known for their out-of-the-box ideas, Barrett’s QDL is another notch on an ever-growing belt of successful large-caliber designs and manufacturing.
Utilizing 360-degree CNC welds with dual-layered high strength alloy tube construction, this suppressor can take the heat and withstand the pressure. The integration of a two-port muzzle brake, the first of its kind, was implemented to reduce recoil but can easily be removed to help assist with muzzle flash reduction when needed. For secure and simple installation purposes, the QDL uses a quick detach method with a lock-ring coupler that clicks into ratchet grooves.

Makes the Barrett 50 cal rifles much easier on the ear, and I might just be fooling myself, but the kick seems a bit less. The brake on the end definitely keeps the kick manageable. it takes a bit of playing with the quick connect/disconnect flange to learn how to mount it on the barrel. All in all, excellent quality and although not inexpensive, good value for such a huge hunk of finely designed and constructed metal. Highly recommended.

The natural choice for your Barrett M107A1. That’s what I put mine on, and it’s working very well. Gone are the days of clearing the lanes around me at the range (And they’re far apart to begin with at distance). Still LOUD and PROUD, but very tolerable for your spotter. A must for anyone other than the very occasional shooter.

Great quality. Easy to correctly attach. Quieter than I expected. More than I had hoped for. Even considering its cost, I am very satisfied with this suppressor.
Helps me be a “good neighbor” at the local shooting range. I will try shooting the Barrett M107A1 with the suppressor’s muzzle brake removed. If that doesn’t increase the felt-recoil too much, it will be an even quieter range toy.
