This is my first suppressor and so far I’ve only used it on an ar-10 in 308, which I threaded directly to the barrel. I was definitely pleased with the suppression. It had a low tone and what I heard the most was the bullet wizzing through the air. Build quality seems great and it’s not too heavy. Would definitely recommend.

I have this on a NEMO Battlelight 300 blk with 8″ barrel and have put about 250 rounds through it. Runs perfect with all kinds of ammo. The Nomad-30 is absolutely amazing. Subsonic rounds are basically silent. This is my first suppressor and I couldn’t be happier with the performance so far. Best money I have spent in bit.

Welds are ugly and the paint is coming off, only had it for a week. Very disappointed in the appearance, welds honesty look like high school shop class did it and I seriously can’t believe the paint is coming off.

My first can so yes it’s better than not having one. Truly loving it so far. Would be 5 stars but the end cap won’t come off. I bought the tool and a 556 cap. Guess I wasted $200.
As far as the kiosk. Just know that this for efroms only and your finger prints, period. Do NOT use a chain store as FFL. Find a local FFL inside 20-50 miles! I bought mine on 12/15 and literally took 3 weeks for the certification process. Assume SilencerShop was out office on holiday. Between them and FFL both parties were clueless. Finally getting the approval process done. It literally was 2-3 days. Just the nonsense in the middle. Go to an FFL that know what they’re doing, highly recommended.

Suppressor takes my 223 to as quiet as a .22 pellet gun. Takes the 308 near a .22 rimfire sound. Doesn’t startle the livestock. I do not feel much of a weight change.

I purchased the Nomad-30 to use on Ruger American Gen 2 rifles, in both .300 AAC Blackout and .308 Winchester. I also purchased Xeno quick-detach components, which make transferring the Nomad-30 from rifle to rifle quick and easy. I am shooting the .300 Blackout subsonic and the .308 supersonic, and in each application, the Nomad-30 seems to be doing exactly what I expected it to do. This being my first suppressor experience, I really don’t have enough information to offer a comparative evaluation of the Nomad-30’s performance relative to other suppressors, but my impression of it so far is that it is a well-engineered and well-built piece of precision equipment, manufactured to exact specs by a highly-reputable state-of-the-art company, and that it will perform satisfactorily for its intended use indefinitely. I am completely happy with my purchase and am confident the Nomad-30 is as good a suppressor as any other in its class.

Nomad 30 is an awesome silencer! Have only run it on my 5.56 and 6.5 Grendel guns so far but have been very impressed with its performance on both rifles. 5.56 is a notoriously difficult round to suppress but I feel the Nomad does a great job at it. With the slightly larger diameter and increased volume it performs more like a longer can while still being fairly compact. So impressed with this Dead Air silencer that I’ve already ordered another.

On my AR-15 shooting 5.56 it was surprisingly quiet. Obviously, it’s not gonna be like the movies nothing ever is, but even with a supersonic round I don’t even feel the need for hearing protection (outdoors), though I’m sure you’re still supposed to.

The process through which you get these was extremely smooth I do wish I could be reimbursed once the tax comes off in 2026 some other companies are offering this. But I wanted to have it this yrs deer season, I haven’t been able to shoot it yet my tikka .270 is at the gunsmith having to thread my barrel but I am excited to shoot it in the field this yr!
