I placed this on my Savage bolt action 338 Lapua rifle. I shoot IMI 250 grain factory ammo. Noise and recoil reduction is dramatic and shooting is pleasant!

The Thunderbeast 338 Ultra is in a league of it’s own. I married it up on my 6.5 Creedmoor, and hit the range. It was exceptional even on the first round. After having it awhile, I can say there is absolutely no noticeable first round pop.
We flew out into the Alaska backcountry to get some unlimited range, meter in hand. The inside of of the Piper Super Cub on taxi was 92dB. 3’, 90° off the muzzle registered in at 78dB for each of the three rounds we tested. Zero hearing protection needed.
It is a big can, but it’s light, and very manageable. The TB brake mount makes for quick mount/dismount for carrying and storage.

While these are not the cheapest on the market. The quality is superb as is the function. This can is definitely quieter than my a couple other of my cans. Thunderbeast makes a great product.
