Only the best from Dead Air! The Odessa is very quite in its full length configuration, using sub sonic ammunition. The slim diameter makes it easy to see through stock pistol sights.

I really wanted to like it. The guys at Dead air were very responsive and their warranty service is top notch. Basically the booster broke in under 10 shots shooting subsonic ammo. No baffle strike just the booster cracked and seized up. This happened in the 7 baffle configuration. When I checked reviews of their booster I find this is not an uncommon issue. They sent me a new one that I haven’t had time to try but can’t help wondering if it will break at any given time too.

Very narrow which lets it sit well below even the lowest of iron sights. I’ve had fun trying all sorts of lengths, though the end cap was a bear to get off the first time and required some serious muscle to bust loose. Some of the segments have been the same way, but a little anti-seize and they come apart easy without being loose. Sound suppression is fantastic, I currently have 5 baffles on my MP5 and it hovers just at hearing safe though I wouldn’t use it too frequently without ears at that level. Might need 7 to not pop my ears too bad, fit and finish is great.

So far its been amazing. Only shot it at the longest setting on my SIG AXG so far. Will be doing some ammo and length testing soon.

Just picked up yesterday after long wait…
Haven’t used it yet but love everything about it so far… my only let down is I didn’t have a manual with it…
I emailed where I purchased from was told if it wasn’t in the box it didn’t come with one, I thought no kidding
So now have contacted the manufacturer and waiting for reply
Update, received call back from silencer shop and they are going to fix me up with a manual… thanks Dan

Very happy with my purchase of the Odessa9. It is very well made and can go without hearing protection even running regular 115 gr 9 mm. I have put about 500 rounds through it. It also works great on my ppks 22. Sounds like a pellet gun.

This can was a paper weight for about a year because the 1st gen pistons were terrible. I broke 2 in a row in under 30 rounds each on a M9A3. It is also quite loud. Doesn’t sound like much difference between this and my SilencerCo Hybrid .46 . The only reason this is 3 stars and not 1 is Dead Air had good customer service. They took 5 months or so to send out the new piston but they sent 3 of the new design to me free of charge and I haven’t broke 1 yet at 300 rounds so I assume the changes were successful. Overall if I could go back I would definitely get a different 9mm can.

Awesome suppressor. Light-weight. Modular. It hits all the marks!

This is my very first suppressor, And now I’m hooked , I can’t believe the level of sound suppression this thing can achieve, it sounds like a nail gun ! I ran 147gr and 150gr out of my stock G19. It did take some tuning with the included shims to get it running reliably, started with 2 shim, lots of failures to eject. 1 shim failures to feed, finally with 3 shims it ran perfectly. Sounds great with just 7 baffles but the full 10 is insanely quiet. Deadair will get all my Silencer money going forward.
John Randolph –
This is not as quiet as I had hoped, but it does lower the sound level below the threshold of my electronic hearing protection which I can tell since the sound level is the same with or without wearing the protection. My wife (in the house) indicated that she could not hear me firing my pistol the way she used to, which should mean that my neighbors can’t hear it inside their houses either, which is why I purchased it in the first place.

Great small package. Its great for its intended purpose. This shines on a pocket firearm. Sounds great on a 22LR like a Beretta Bobcat. Also sounds good on a 9mm banshee. I wish they engraved the markings on the baffles. It gets hot quickly. Baffles have different shades of color. Some darker, some lighter. I got it to carry with my P365.

Easy to use. Screw it on and go. Its a dedicated can with no headaches.

Great product, but i wish it included a barrel wrench for disassembly rather than a fancy case.

This is a really neat suppressor! I chose this can for the modularity, and the narrow tube size. My stock height glock sights cleared the tube which is awesome, because I don’t want to add tall sights to some of my carry guns. Full length is not too heavy, and suppresses nicely, especially with subsonic rounds. Shorter configurations certainly take the bite out of it. A super short configuration for as able to fit mounted in my nightstand safe, though it hearing safe, will help if it has to be used. It ran flawlessly on 2 different Glock 19s, and a hellcat RDP. I left 2 shims in, one more in the box. (That’s how it came from factory). Great quality, easily breaks down and reassembles, comes with all required tools. I would absolutely recommend this can!

Quality construction with awesome configuration – great value for the price!

Great silencer but if running on fixed barrel, don’t forget the fixed barrel adaptor.

Awesome Suppressor for my Glock 19…very light and quiet, love it!

For pistol use. Not for sub gun or pcc. Keep in mind. Put on put in draw. Ready when needed.
