For all you hunter fanatics out there, this revelation will grab your attention and keep it until the Gemtech Tracker silencer is threaded onto your rifle’s barrel. Don’t let the marketing push fool you, though; long-range precision guys, paper slayers, varminters, and plinkers will also feel right at home with a Gemtech Tracker on the end of their rig.
The boys of Boise are up to their cutting-edge ways once again. With their suppressor business-savvy reaching back to 1976, Gemtech routinely designs and produces some of the industry’s top units. Catered to outdoorsmen who enjoy the thrill of the hunt, the Tracker merely adds prominence to this manufacturer’s earned reputation.
Further Intel
Crafted specifically with the hunter in mind, the Tracker offers a lightweight (just over 11 ounces) and maneuverable (under 8”) option to those of us who feel right at home in the vast wilderness. By selecting titanium and aluminum to sculpt this can, Gemtech spares the shooter unnecessary weight and bulk, which provides for easier transport while stalking prey or beginning the long walk to/from the blind. In addition, its lightness also equates to less point-of-impact shift (especially on thinner profiled hunting barrels).
Rated for .300WM and below, the Tracker offers outdoorsmen versatility when aiming for their dinner. And the sturdiness of its hard-coat anodized finish brings added durability to the silencer. With sound suppression attaining an impressive 27 dB, the tailor-made for hunting Tracker provides increased hearing protection, improved accuracy, and unmatched maneuverability. So, the question isn’t why get one… It’s why NOT get one?
**Fun fact: If you know what the Morse code on the Tracker’s outer tube indicates, bravo!

Works as it should and price was right. Only way to make this can better is to make with quick detach. This one is direct thread but i only use it on my 6.5 creedmoor so it works for me. Silencer shop did a great job with my paperwork process. Very easy just to much wait time is my only complaint but that had nothing to do with silencer shop.

I bought this can to use on a Remington 700 .308 with a 20 in barrel so far the Tracker has lived up to expectations. It did change the POI straight up 2″ at 100 yards so adjusting the scope tracking was easy. The only down side is you can only fire 10 rounds before letting the can cool to ambient temp but I knew this going in the problem is once you start shooting it’s hard to stop after 10 rounds. If used for hunting this becomes a non issue. Would I buy another Tracker Yes.

Absolutely fantastic. Does a good job reducing sound. Compact and lightweight. Put it on a 300 blk pistol and couldn’t be happier. I WILL buy this exact suppressor again

I like this product and it does what it was marketed to do. I like the size vs. weight and the quality. I have one small gripe and it is a small one, but one that would have affected my purchase if I’d have known before I made my purchase.
I cannot shoot .22 lr thru my silencer. I called the mfg. and confirmed that with them. I might have made a different choice if I had been aware of that before I chose the tracker. I liked the tracker more than any of the other models I looked at, but being able to use it with the .22 would be an added bonus. It did make the gophers around my cabin happy, that I can’t use it.
So, in summary, I wish that little factoid had been mentioned on the website info, it would have helped.
But, overall I like the Tracker.

This can is super lightweight and I use it for my .308 Win hunting silencer on my PSA AR-10. The sound is great and since I hunt out of a box stand 99% of the time it doesn’t matter that it makes my overall rifle length so much longer.

Can’t go wrong with a S&W brand.

I use this on 3 different calibers it’s pretty awesome definitely reduces sound safe to not having to use ear plugs especially in a deer blind

Only thing that would make this better would be making it full auto rated for the same money. Perfect for my hunting and long range bolt guns.

great product, good sound suppression even with supersonic ammo

So far I think its great. Put it on a 300 Blk and it made a big difference. Im sure there might be some that are quieter but for the money i say this is a great one.

The product is wonderful however it was the customer service through this process that sold me. Twisted Precision is the best shop with their knowledge, helpfulness and streamlined process that made this super easy.

My Gemtech Tracker took less than three weeks for the whole process from Silencer Shop to approval by the ATF. I put it on my Tikka T3X 270 and it was outstanding! It is a lite and quiet suppressor. This will be my primary whitetail deer rifle. I like the fact that if I am shooting from a deer blind the sound won’t be rupture my ear drums. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Superlight weight, quiet on my 300wm and very budget friendly. Has a 10 shot limit before cooling but thus being on a hunting rifle that’s fine with me.
Jacob O –
Solid silencer. Especially for the price you cannot beat it. Only took 7 days to get it.

For my first one, I will not complain, even without shooting subs you notice a small difference but with subs like intended, I love it, I will definitely be buying another, I just wish you could do more than 10 shots before letting it cool down, that’s the only thing I’d change, definitely worth the money!

Fantastic can. Don’t even need ears with full power ammo
