The more suppressors that Gemtech releases to firearm enthusiasts, the more impressed we are with their forward-thinking mindset. Sometimes, however, simplicity is underestimated. To that end, their direct-thread Trek unit offers everything you need in a silencer without the unnecessary bells and whistles.
Positioned in blissful Boise, Gemtech offers shooters cutting-edge suppressors at affordable price points. With the inception of their Trek model, they bring a reliable, keep-it-simple can to the 5.56mm rifle market. Its effectiveness speaks for itself.
Further IntelDesigned for durability and consistent use, Gemtech’s Trek is full-auto designated. Being constructed with stainless steel and Inconel, this suppressor brings a sturdiness and reliability that shooters appreciate. In addition, its compact (5.7” long) and lightweight (17.3 ounces) build offers users maneuverability while at the range or in the great outdoors. Although the 5.56mm rifle silencer market might be somewhat saturated with options, the Gemtech Trek is a definite building block in this category. And at our discounted price, why delay the inevitable?

I have only used it a handful of times, the range I bought this from keeps it locked up for me but I can use it at the range anytime I want. I like it so far. It reduces the pew pew greatly

it has been a long wait but ready for it

Great product currently running on 10.5 barrel and this thing is super quiet.

The Gemtech Trek is a great and affordable suppressor. It does a great job at keeping muzzle flash down and of course the sound. I picked this unit at it is very robust!

Very quite for its size.

I have shot the 1st Gen Treks with the internal threads and really liked them even though they are heavy. This is a Gen 2 Trek, not a TREK II. They look identical, just stamped differently. I bought this Trek to shoot on a 11.5″ AR pistol exclusively, but have ran it on a couple AR’s that are not setup with KEYMO mounts. I think its a couple db quieter than the Gen 1 Treks. Its a little heavy but I don’t mind. Its tough and quiet, that’s what I’m after.

Great suppressor no issues after several hundred rounds fired through it.

This suppressor appears well built and looks like it will be durable. It suppresses the sound of my AR rifle to the point that you can shoot it comfortably without hearing protection. I will use i on a Remington 700 in .223 as well. I will likely purchase another. Cedar Valley Outfitters in Marion, Iowa were great to work with, as was Silencer Shop. The use of the kiosk makes purchasing a suppressor as painless as possible.

Old school design but works incredibly well. Gas blow back is higher on this suppressor so I find it best suited to a bolt action or an AR-15 with tuned gas system. I’m running it on a Criteron 16″ rifle length gas barrel and it performs excellent. However on a mid length gas with 0.078″ gas port it was severely overgassed. Regardless I recommend this suppressor along with the Griffin GP5.

I love this thing, the ONLY thing is I wish it was able to be disassembled BUT for the price it’s by far the best thing I’ve bought. I may buy another haha!

So far this suppressor has been great, installed on a 22ARC bolt gun…

Great general use can. I’m sure there are quieter ones out there but you won’t go wrong with this one.
