Pro: easily customizable, and easy on the ear.
Con: poor documentation( had to call to get shell and barrel length restrictions), no tools but not sure this is a problem yet.
I have both a Salvo 12 and a SGX12. Both have a good selection of mounting options. The SGX12 is a lot lighter (16oz vs 32 for the Salvo) but longer. While I have only put about 50 rounds through both I would say the SGX12 has the definite edge.

I thought it would be quieter. I’m going to try different guns and loads to see if that makes a big difference. I shot it on a Benelli Ethos, even with subsonic rounds, I was shocked it did not do more for noise reduction. I would still highly recommend ear protection. I am going to do more testing. Maybe with a pump action and subsonic rounds, I can shoot clays without ear protection.
Overall quality is good and I will update with any changes.

Its not very quiet at all… Tried a few different guns and loads sort of a bummer.

we are currently testing this can and will put it head to head with other cans in class on our channel Silencer syndicate
this will be compared to the shorter version and the Silencerco 12 ga can

Excellent can. Well made and solves any issues with stripping plastic off of the wad. Every bit as quiet as the Salvo 12 but much easier to attach and move to multiple shotguns. Being able to shorten it in the field is a nice feature. Well made and would highly recommend.

Reviewed after one full upland and waterfowl season. Don’t use your money on this suppressor. The videos show it sounding much quieter than what it really is. Very little difference in sound firing with or without it. Also you can see the baffles that are suppose to keep the wads closed as the shot travels through this suppressor is not doing what they say it does. You can see where the shot is taking out and denting the sides of the baffles. How dangerous is this, I don’t know and I have not been able to find out. This is another issue you will have if you buy this suppressor. There is no customer service period. I have called JK Armament and got no answer, left messages with no call backs and sent e-mails with no response. I filled out a review on JK Armament’s web page but of course it was never listed in their reviews only the 5 stars are there. I see some like it and maybe I expected too much from it. I have other suppressors and they work fine and suppress the noise. I used this on a Browning 12 GA with 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, lead and steel. I’m glad I didn’t use 3 1/2 inch. I’m not sure how bad it would look or what would have happened by the end of the season. The really bad thing with these suppressors is you can’t take them back and I think that is why this company doesn’t care. Hope this helps someone in their decision making and hopefully Silencer Shop will try to hold this company to better standards or drop them completely.

The suppressor is great. The attachment not so much, mine practically disintegrated while shooting trap. Thankfully it didn’t hurt the shotgun, me or the suppressor.

Great fast service

The build quality was great. I own a Salvo and compare the SGX to it. Sound is about the same. Shotgun suppressor are not quite. This thing is huge but the end user can configure it to any size they want, the reason I went with this one. It does have some advantages over the Salvo. I am not required to use loads with a flight control wad with this. At the end of the day nothing makes a shotgun quiet but this tames it some and controls the muzzle blast on a SBS.
