SilencerCo Omega 300 DTM .30 Cal Suppressor
Omega 300 DTM is the direct-thread variant of SilencerCo’s best-selling .30 cal can. It ships ready with a 5/8×24 Bravo Direct Thread Mount and .30 cal Bravo Anchor Brake for recoil control. Built from Cobalt-6, Inconel, 17-4, and titanium, it is full-auto rated and covers .223 Rem to .300 Win Mag. Barrel guidance from SilencerCo is 7 inches for 300 BLK, 10 inches for 5.56, 16 inches for 7.62 NATO, and 20 inches for magnums. The Bravo rear means easy upgrades to ASR or other Bravo accessories. If you want a shorter overall length than ASR, keep the DT installed and add caliber-specific Bravo front caps for tone tuning.

I am not impressed with SilencerCo’s inability to keep up with demand. I am also not impressed by the fact that the manual and company videos state that there should be other parts included with the suppressor. I am VERY disappointed that I can not seem to find an ASR Alpha mount.

I really liked this omega 300 Supressor for the first five rounds that I fired through it. The sound quality was good. The fit was good and it really looked good on my AR. My problem is there was a manufacturer defect that one of the welds that held the threaded section in place at the end of the Supressor where you screw the end cap on failed. What that meant was the Supressor end cap and threads came out at an angle and did not give the bullet a clean pass through it nicked the end cap. I really am not upset about this other than the fact I owned it for only three days. What I would like to do is give a huge shout out to the Silencerco Customer service as a whole and specifically Ryan. The RMA process was extremely quick. I shipped it off to them. They determined the issue were very open with what the problem was replaced everything and as we speak it’s currently back in the mail all within four days. Would I buy one again Yes as long as the end cap doesn’t come off, but I think that was just one of those weird fluke things.

Excellent can, it provides a great platform for both bolt action hunting guns and Tactical gas guns. I enjoyed the modularity of it being standard thread pitch to improve it with the quick detach deadair keymo hub. Well worth the extra money

I have many different suppressor’s and this is a very good “do it all” suppressor. It’s not the quietest I own but it’s more than sufficient to shoot without ear pro on all my hunting rifles. This is my go to can when hitting the woods. Can’t beat it for the price and would be a good choice for someone getting into suppressors.

The Omega 300 is a high-value .30 cal suppressor all the way around. It does not have the greatest suppression or tone compared to other SciCo products (and other vendors), but it punches high with FA and Magnum ratings. I purchased this suppressor primarily for my 300blk, 5.56, and .308 semi-auto firearms and for that purpose it is excellent. I will be swapping the anchor brake for a standard or flash suppressing end cap to reduce the “pop” and achieve a better “tone” overall.
Using on a 26” barreled 300 PRC, the Omega 300 is not the best, but it does mitigate the sound well enough for general use (but double ear pro is recommended). In comparison to the Scythe Ti, it is does not have the internal volume to achieve the same sound reduction and tone performance with the magnum cartridges, but it is more than acceptable for short action and intermediate cartridges. Excellent performance for the price, overall and SciCo’s warranty is exceptional to boot.
I have placed over 500+ rounds through it thus far and am very happy with it.
I highly recommend the Omega 300 for those looking for a general purpose can at $600 or less.
