Absolutely love it! This is my 2nd 9mm can(the first being the Mojave 9). I can running it a hk vp9t. It cycle 165g perfectly, and everything else too. Stupid light weight. It is pretty quiet for its size. With 147g defensive ammo I’d say it’s just louder than a nail gun but still quite enough to dump a couple magazines inside and not ring you eat.
The built quality is great. Size is perfect. Performance is better than my expectations. Definitely not as quite as the Mojave 9, for example. But unlike the Mojave 9 it cycles everything and you barely notice it on the end of you pistol (weight wise).
This really is an excellent can. I couldn’t be more happy. The price is perfectly fair.

The Spectre 9 is shockingly lightweight in the hand and lends itself really well to being used on a handgun. It also looks really good on a full size pistol because its smaller size. Even though its small it is comparable in suppression to other full size 9mm silencers.

Great product, extremely lightweight that must be held to be believed. Helps pistols with balance, bringing less of this boat anchor off the front and more akin to a longer slide type of weight. Typical silencerco, very premium feel and the package and tooling is all good. I do miss the days when you’d get a little nylon pouch with them but that’s probably just me showing my age.

While the can itself is very nice and well made. I was very dissappointed that it doesn’t come with anything to mount to a host out of the box. Looking at SilencerShop, the vast majority of pistol suppressors come with a piston in the most popular thread pitch for that caliber. SilencerCo wants to nickel and dime you for another $90+ for a mount that should have come with the can, and as of writing this review, isn’t in stock. For this reason, this will be my only SilencerCo purchase, I’d recommend you don’t buy from them either.

Very lightweight but also well made. Great for 9mm use. Ideal for a pistol as it is light and reasonably quiet for its size. Includes a booster for pistol use but does not include adapter to screw it onto the barrel. Keep that it mind for the extra $80 or so. It can also be a nice light can for .300 blackout, but ONLY for SUBSONIC, if running .300 blackout.

The Spectre 9 is an impressive suppressor, and one that wasn’t even on my radar. I walked into my local gun shop looking for a lightweight 9mm can for a specific project and I was recommended this little guy.
I’m running a Glock 17 SBR in a B\&T USW chassis, and it’s had cycling issues with subsonic ammo when using other suppressors like the Omega 9K, Obsidian 9, and a few others. With the SilencerCo booster installed, the Spectre 9 ran the setup flawlessly.
I’ve also tested it on several of my other PCC’s, and it’s noticeably quieter than the Omega 9K, though just a bit louder than the Obsidian 9. That said, it strikes a great balance. It’s a smaller-diameter suppressor with roughly the same overall length as the Omega 9K, but it performs better in terms of tone, and surprisingly, I saw significant accuracy improvement on a couple of my 9mm PCCs compared to the 9K.
If you’re looking for a short, lightweight 9mm suppressor that delivers reliable performance and great tone, I highly recommend the Spectre 9.

This is incredibly lightweight, which is not only easy on the wrists but also easier on all the moving parts of browning-action pistols, or pistols that may struggle with heavier suppressors. This would make a great starter suppressor, too, given all that it is rated for and the multitude of attachment methods available for this thread pitch. Now all I need is a Spectre 45!

I’m really loving the spectre 9. I have ran this on a handful of different browning type handguns with a Nielsen device without any issues at all from the can. Haven’t needed to change out recoil springs on any of them either. Almost all the weight is from the Nielsen and not the body of the can itself which gives it great balance for handguns. I ordered the 3 lug attachment but haven’t received it yet but I’m excited to see how the weight and performance is on an mp5. Im only giving it 4 stars on value since ultimately, its a basic baffle design and monotube but that is fine for my purpose and still works very well for how basic it looks inside. It does leave a small amount of gas in the breathing area but that’s to be expected from a small can that is actually quiet. For all of those reasons, I can definitely recommend this can for handgun use.
