The much-anticipated MODX-9 is Sig Sauer’s modular 3D Printed 9mm pistol suppressor. Constructed of titanium, this Sig silencer is extremely lightweight, only weighing 8 ounces in its full, 7.5-inch, configuration. Its configurable baffle design, the first of its kind for 3D printed suppressors, gives you the freedom to customize the MODX-9 depending on your host firearm and your needs. Whether you choose to have a longer and quieter silencer or a shorter and more compact silencer, this modular suppressor will deliver.
Most notably seen is the Sig MODX-9’s aesthetic. This unique exterior design doubles as wrench flats for ease of assembly and disassembly. Both 1/2×28 and M13.5x1LH pistons are included with the purchase of a MODX-9, providing you flexibility and versatility to use on multiple host options. This Sig suppressor also comes with a fixed barrel spacer for use with pistol caliber carbines. With all these bells and whistles already included in the box, you’ll be ready to hit the range right when your tax stamp arrives. And for one tax stamp, the options truly are endless!

The long wait was well worth it

Light weight but tough. Precisely machined. Has all the components and tools needed to operate out of the box. Easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble. Only downside so far is lack of response from Sig Sauer when I inquired about where I could get a replacement o-ring. If Silencer Shop has any information please reach out.

Super quiet. Fits several of my handguns and carbines.
Danny Branch –
it beats waiting 8 months
Jacob Freiman, MD, FACS –
It’s very light but does nothing for the sound.

Great product! I have yet to go to a range to test it out but the build quality looks fantastic. Definitely worth the price and Interstate Guns in Hammond, Louisiana is always the best shop to work with!
Ronald Miles –
Very light and very quiet can. I used it on my sig MPX and it worked with no issue. It was very nice to have both 1/2×28 and M13.5x1LH Pistons

Great modular can. The ability to remove sections to make the suppressor shorter is really great. Only complaint is the thread pitch. They use 1.125-24 vs 1.125-28 like so 3 lug adapter devices need an additional adapter. I went with ECCO Machines adapter personally. No idea why they used these threads over the more industry standard ones.

Great suppressor, works great on my p320 carry slide which I have installed on my Flux Legion. Cycles with no issues ( I did throw some Teflon tape on my thread to keep the suppressor from walking off)

GREAT product and adaptability

The quality and value of the Sig Mod-X9 looks good, but I’m unable to tell you about the performance because of the following. I decided to purchase this suppressor because of it’s perceived quality and that it came with a 1/2 by 28 piston, a Sig Sauer piston and a fixed barrel spacer. On the day I ordered it (6/6/24), the suppressor was out of stock, but they would back order it for me. Well 5 1/2 months later I was notified that it was back in stock. My FFL received it about a week later and submitted the E-form to ATF. ATF approved it in 6 days, and I went to my FFL to pick it up after waiting 6 months. I opened the suppressor box and found that the Sig Sauer pistol and the fixed barrel spacer had never been put in the box. My FFL called Sig Sauer about the missing items and was told they would send the items if they had them. I purchased this suppressor to mount on my 9mm PCC. So, after paying over $1,200 for the suppressor, tax stamp, state tax and a fee for using a credit card with my FFL and waiting over 6 months I still can’t tell you if the suppressor does what it’s supposed to do.

I like the modular design, but needs to have 2 tools in each box to disassemble as mine only came with 1 tool.

It is always a pleasurable and smooth transaction with Silencer Shop!!

I never expected Form 1 & Form 4 services could be so easy until I started using SS. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They’re professional to the letter, they have a balanced and elite service. Same goes for Buck and Does; the dealer that handled the final NFA item transfers.

Have only put a few rounds through it but, it functions well. Nice and light, given the size. Direct thread to my PDP and if fun to shoot.

This is an amazing product. Highly recommended great overall works well at the range.

Works well on my HK VP9 tactical. Shooting next to a friend. His gun was echoing off the dirt walls, mine didn’t echo at all.

IT’S AWESOME!

My first suppressor and is one of the best investment I made

The process was super quick and painless. Went to SIG Sauer where they have a fingerprint kiosk and got it done in about 30 min.
The silencer fit perfect but the instructions were lacking a bit about the spacer vs spring. I googled it and figured it out so I could mount it easily on my MPX. It takes a quiet gun and makes it a lot quieter. The gas hangs out in your face a lot so probably need to get the adjustable gas block. Rounds ejected at 2pm, no issues cycling and dead on.
Great product, great process, great price. Couldn’t have better things to say

Good value for the money. I’m putting this on my Flux after a few more mods.

This thing is super sexy! It looks awesome on my Sig P226 and even better on my Sig MPX K. I was surprised how quiet it is. I like the modular design and the included 1/2×28 and M13.5x1LH pistons. Disassembly and reassembly is very easy making it a cinch to swap pistons and swap hosts. The price is right, too, which is surprising coming from Sig. I’m considering buying a second one and letting one live on the MPX K full time. It really shines on that platform.
Danny Branch –
Its great to work with these people at the range

This is my first can. I used it yesterday for the first time. Looks and feels like a quality product. While it was expensive, I am very happy with this purchase.
