This thing is incredibly well made and oozes quality. The weight (or lack thereof) is super nice and integrals look so clean. I’m a little disappointed in the first round pop, however. Compared to a Mask, Regulator, El Camino, and Element 2 this thing is noticeably louder for the first shot. Follow up shots sound great however. I just expected a long K baffle type design to be a little better. I may try shooting wet or seeing if a little fouling helps quiet it down. Assembly and disassembly is a breeze and the design is very well thought out.

This upper is super cool, I have a few .22 cans and wanted an integral. Going to mount an Trijicon SRO to it soon.

This review is my opinion based on my experience using the TacSol Pac-Lite TSS.
The good news first. I wanted an integrally suppressed .22. The TacSol Pac-Lite TSS looks good, shoots good and is really quiet. When shooting it, I was impressed that the impact of the bullet was actually louder than the actual shot. Very happy with the suppression.
Now the bad news. After shooting the suppressor the first time and putting less than 100 rounds through it, I went home to clean it. The ammo I used was CCI Mini Mags. After seeing the videos on how easy it is to take apart (one of the reasons I bought this suppressor), I figured it would be a quick take down and clean. I unscrewed endcap and it wouldn’t come apart. No matter how hard I pulled, I couldn’t get it apart. I emailed TacSol and they said to soak the suppressor end in Mineral Spirits for 24 hours. I soaked it for three days and it wouldn’t come apart. I called TacSol and after talking about the issue, they had me send it back to them to break it down. They got it apart and after about four weeks, they sent it back. Their email to me said “It appears that the initial assembly did not clean the tube portion properly so when the first few rounds were fired the carbon locked the baffles once shifted slightly. I don’t see it having the issue again.” OK, I figured everyone gets one mistake and I figured TacSol had theirs.
Went shooting again and put about 60-70 rounds through the suppressor. When I had a chance to clean it, I went to take it apart and the exact same thing happened. Unscrewed the endcap and it wouldn’t come apart. Soaked it again and nothing. Talked to TacSol and we agreed to send it back. This time, they had it about five weeks and I got it back today. This time they described how they got it apart, what they did to the suppressor and what I should do in the future. “Unthreaded end cap and put end cap into vice with blocks, gave barrel tug and baffle stack came out. Cleaned everything thoroughly and inspected. Found baffles were all within spec, tube also. Replaced blast baffle and others and test fired 200 rounds (combination of many ammunitions and different shooting speeds). Removed baffle stack and cleaned again. No issues removing the baffles.” They went on with what I should do “When removing the baffle stack after shooting, sometimes you will need extra grip to remove it. Meaning soft jaws in a vice might be necessary to remove it (depending on ammunition used and shooting style, it might be necessary for earlier than 200 rounds.) But, I did replaced the baffles and chamfer the corners that would cause some sticking.”
I don’t remember seeing the the people reviewing the suppressor in videos use a vice to take it apart. I guess I need to plan to pack a vice in my range bag when I go shooting (hope they don’t mind me attaching the vice to their bench). Especially since I’ll need to take it apart every 100-200 rounds (normally I would shoot more than that during an outing). I haven’t had a chance to shoot it again but unfortunately, I don’t have high hopes that anything will be different.
In TacSol’s favor, they did work with me and have me send it back, twice, so they could work on it. However, I think they have now told me to just use a vice on it and don’t call again. Knowing what I know now, I would probably reconsider buying the TacSol Pac-Lite TSS.

The Tac sol Pc Lite IV TSS Integrally suppressed barrel upgrade for the Mark iv Ruger pistol is the boss of .22 pistol silencers. It looks like a James Bond tool, and the combo of the shorter pistol barrel and 6 stacked cones inside the suppressor ensures that you have a hearing safe experience shooting outside with no hearing protection. Its accurate as any good pistol at 25 yards and its really easy to install. I find this to be my most fun suppressor for plinking. And Silencer shop is just the best to work with as they help you all the way through the process.

We love this suppressed .22 upper here on the farm. Its quiet and its just plain fun to shoot. It’s great for novice shooters, too. Highly recommended!

I have a love hate relationship for this upper. Its got the cool factor but I don’t recommend this at all.
Cons:
The sights are garbage and only useful during the day. there are no after market accessories for this upper and it does not even come with a bolt. the worst thing about the rear sight is it has one set screw to hold it in place and you cannot replace it with something better. It does have first round pop which is crazy to still have at this price point (still amazingly quiet). Save your money or better yet buy two universal cans like the Oculus or Mask at the price of this upper.
Pros: Super easy to clean and take apart! looks cool?
Paul Langner –
Exceptionally quiet with great accuracy. Does not attract attention at the range until you fire it, then you will be surrounded.
Sadly the lack of CCI ammunition has limited my use. Do not get me wrong, every brand of ammunition I have used cycles the action. It is just the CCI Quiet / Clean ammunition seems to heaven made for this suppressor
Customer –
Shoot it all the time.

This is possibly the best gun related item money can buy. On a nice Ruger MK4 lower this is the most fun you will have shooting with the exception of full auto. Fit and finish was great. Only con is the baffles are hard to pull out after 150+ rounds. Well worth the money.
Brian –
Easy installation. “Very quiet shooting” Well balanced and lite to carry. Great workmenship fit and finish. I recommend this suppressor.
Timothy T –
Fun little 22 no ear protection needed !!!
Alvin S –
I don’t know how it is because I haven’t got mine yet it’s been over a year since I applied for it
Ryan S –
Stupid accurate and quiet. Machining is outstanding.
Disassembly is a little rough around 200 rounds due to carbon lock, but that’s to be expected.
Paul S –
Very high quality suppressor. Fit existing MK4 pistol perfectly
Lorin B –
Good option for someone who wants a suppressed mark 4 in a state where threaded barrels are banned.
Aaron T –
wont cycle with sub ammo.

Extremely fun and quiet to shoot, great for introducing first time shooters.
