The 17-4 stainless steel baffles are keyed and labeled to ensure proper reassembly every time the suppressor is taken apart for maintenance. Moreover, a Grade 9 titanium tube is employed to keep the can’s weight to a minimum (5.9 ounces) without compromising its impressive durability. While utilized on a typical .22LR rifle, the Take Down suppressed the firearm to a range of 114–116 dB. There are plenty of great 22 cans on the market, but I’m glad I chose this one as my first. On my .22LR bolt rifle, it reduces the sound to a laughably quiet “click.” On my Ruger 22/45, it sounds like a a low pitched thud and I can’t discern any first round pop. The machining is impeccable – you can tell the guys at Thunderbeast take pride in their work. It disassembles easily, cleans up well in an ultrasonic cleaner, and reassembles as easily as it came apart. Highly recommend this can!

Suppressor has zero discernable first round pop, I’ve mainly been shooting it on a 4.5″ Ruger mark I. all standard velocity .22 has been subsonic out of that barrel. accuracy on rifles has been excellent

I purchased the 22 takedown after owning a sparrow for a year or so.
The 22 takedown has notably less frp, its a more compact can and it is much much easier to clean.
They both get used on 22lr and mag. The takedown spends a lot of time on a m9 in .22lr with Aquila standard velocity ammo its a really fun set up.

This is the only one I have or for that matter, have heard. This suppressor spends it time between a Mach2 and a 17wsm. The wsm went from wearing hearing protection to not. I still get the sonic boom from both rifles, you can’t get away from that, but the blast is gone. I had called the Thunder Beast factory twice before my purchase and spoke with 2 different people and both were friendly and knowledgeable, and they did warn me of the sonic boom I would encounter-honest people. POI did change and was expected, about a 2″ drop @ a hundred yds but accuracy remains unaffected if not improved. Would I buy it again? Heck ya! In a heartbeat.

Bought this to use primarily on my take down 10/22. BA little can, modified the stock of the 10/22 where the extra clips are held so I can carry the can there on back packing adventures when the gun is stowed. Great quality and performance

This is a very effective .22 can. I have several to include a Mask and Element 2, the industry standards. This performs right up there with them. Super easy to take apart, and fool proof to put back together. Highly recommended.

I purchased this suppressor to dedicate to a Savage .22LR bolt action carbine- primarily using subsonic ammunition. This combination is lightweight and very quiet. It is quieter than a Banish 30, which is a 30 caliber suppressor, on my .22LRs and noticeably quieter than my subsonic pellet rifle. I can highly recommend this silencer for use on .22LRs and would purchase again if needed..

Awesome suppressor. Absolutely no POI shift and with a bolt action, it sounds like dropping the hammer on an empty chamber using CCI standard velocity. In a TX22 it sounds like a staple gun with both SV and HV ammo. Couldn’t be happier.

TBAC has a solid reputation & for good reason. I purchased the 22TD based on its construction, serviceability & overall value for its price point. Performance wise it has lived up to the TBAC “no-POI” shift across all of my 22LR’s. The tone off of these cans are also great across 10/22’s; 22/45’s; VQ’s & my bolt action 22LR’s (no first round pop as rifle hosts.). Have yet to try it across any of the other calibers they are rated for. If you are TBAC curious the TD22 makes a great place to start!

I have only used it on my pistol and it is very nice. Not hollywood quiet but there is a big difference than no suppressor at all. Looking forward to the local snow melting so I can back to the range and try it on my 10/22. Very happy so far.
