I do a fair bit of teaching new shooters with a AR 15–22 rifle and a semi auto 22 caliber pistol, both suppressed using subsonic .22lr. The suppressor I was running before I got the Rugged Mustang 22 was over twice as heavy and a fair bit longer. This suppressor is incredibly light. With the modular ability to shorten it, people literally don’t even know it’s there…yet we are able to shoot without hearing protection, which is great for new shooters. The Rugged Mustang 22 has excellent workmanship and design. The fit and finish are fantastic and the materials have held up nicely. I only have about 400 rounds through the suppressor and I would definitely recommend cleaning it after every 150 to 200 rounds. All in all I would highly recommend this suppressor even though the cost is a bit more than others in this category. In my opinion, it is well worth it.

I love this suppressor. While I have fired friends’ guns with suppressors, this is my first purchase. I installed it on my Ruger 10/22. I have shot a variety of .22LR ammo through it and it has cycled perfectly. I first shot a couple of mags of typical high-velocity .22. The report from the gun was zilch but when the rounds broke the sound barrier you got the report from downrange. I then shot 50 rounds of subsonic .22LR ammo and it was truly amazing. Just a loud click from the rifle as the bolt engaged and then a thwok sound from the wood backboard 100 yards away. Again, no cycling issues whatsoever. I can recommend this suppressor without reservation.

Solid and light little suppressor. Only works for .22lr which is exactly what I needed. Highly recommend using subsonic ammo with it in either configuration as it becomes quiet as a Snap-bang. My only gripe is that disassembly is kind of finnicky and there is a learning curve.
If you need a cheap, affordable, and useful suppressor in a compact package this is it.

Build quality is superb, very lightweight… All in all, a great can, but first round pop is occasionally there still. My first suppressor, but definitely the best build quality of any .22 suppressor I’ve looked at or handled. Would I buy again? Yes… definitely… but shouldn’t need to as it should last a lifetime.

Works very well on a Ruger mk iv 22lr. Using sub-sonic CCI rounds, almost no sound. Also using on Mosberg 715t and Colt m4 carbine. All very quiet , no sound.

Evidently the baffles are sensitive to some solvents. I think the real test will be dismantling and cleaning. Haven’t tried that yet.
