I’m building a takedown 10/22 from the ground up. I purchased this barrel to pair with my TacSol receiver and comp bolt. Once everything arrived, the .22 Vanquish barrel will not fit in the TacSol receiver. The barrel shank is too large.
I’ve tried for 2.5-3 weeks to reach out to Angstadt Arms. After many, many emails, voicemails, and even reaching out on their social media platforms, they finally sent me an email today (4/3/2025) with the instructions of sending the barrel back and requested I send my TacSol receiver to ensure a proper fit. The turn-around time, according to them, is at least 2 weeks.
At this point, I lost all confidence as a consumer, that they will take care of this issue. I’m not sure that if I send them my receiver and barrel (over $1,000 value), that I’ll ever get it back. I’m current searching for a competent gunsmith to help me. It’s just frustrating because I got over $2k in this build and Angstadt Arms has been horrible at reaching out to a concerned customer. I should have went with Gemtech instead. I suggest anyone reading this do the same.
