So this suppressor is fun to own. I put mine on an PSA ARV just for the kicks really and its fun to shoot. I will say it is works but not as quiet as I wanted it to be. I have sensitive hearing so any decibels I can cut I will. It is a fun suppressor to have since cutting down 10.5″ of length is always nice.

The Vanquish 9mm is crazy quiet. Super easy to run wet and it makes a huge difference. Overall length for the 10.5 inch version ends up shorter than most traditional suppressor setups with better overall performance.

Just put about 150rds of 165gr subs through it . It was quieter than i anticipated honestly and no gas to the face is a bonus.

First off, the Vanquish is a quality product and is reasonably priced. Being a ported-suppressed barrel for the AR platform makes it rather unique in the market at the moment. It is easy to install if you are already used to doing your own AR builds.
The Vanquish does require a larger diameter handguard than some suppressors because of its 1.5″ diameter. Both Angstadt and Aero Precision offer good ones. Be advised, you may run into clearance issues with other brand barrel nuts because the rear sealing area of the sleeve extends inside the barrel nut so there needs to be enough clearance in the ID of the forward part of the nut. I used the Angstadt handguard kit and had no issues. It is rock solid and looks great!
I found the ‘report’ of the Vanquish 10.5″ model to a bit loud with subsonics compared to my 9mm baffled suppressor. I used both commercial subs and my own hand loads. The tone is definitely different and I would expect that due to the difference in designs. So far I have shot about 250 rounds through it including 50 rounds of 1145fps range ammo. I tried 50 rounds each of two different brands. I got a supersonic crack with both brands. The altitude and temperature here likely has a lot to do with my own experience…
I am at about 4300 feet. Speed of sound here is closer to 1085fps and temps have been in the teens to mid 30’s. So out the gate I am at a dis-advantage compared to sea level speed of sound of about 1117fps. I look forward to testing this rig at lower altitude and some warmer temps soon.
Would I buy the Vanquish 10.5″ again? Yes. As described I don’t think I can say it is as quiet at conventional baffled cans. But it has several distinct advantages that make it worth having, especially if you want to run a dedicated suppressed setup. You can shoot hollow points without worry of a baffle strike, cleaning is simplified and reportedly it will slow down inexpensive range ammo to below supersonic – at least at near sea level. And it is very reasonably priced!
