The Hydra-SS offers durability and multicaliber performance still at an impressively low weight of only 6.5 ounces. It is comprised of a Grade 9 titanium tube and 17-4 stainless steel baffles, which is why we see this can as nearly indestructible.
CGS’s baffles were inspired by the NASA space shuttle, ORION, to provide increased durability and resiliency. Dare we say… out of this world? Using the standard 1/2×28 direct thread mount, this rimfire suppressor can withstand a fun filled day at the range. After sending rounds through it, you can also easily disassemble and clean this rimfire suppressor using the convenient tool that accompanies it.

Great little suppressor. Love that I can use on .22 or 5.7mm and it is really easy to disassemble.
Usually at the range you see folks stopping and looking when they hear loud shots but in this case folks were amazed at how quiet it was !

My buddy has the CGS Hydra AL and I liked the lack of sound and size but wanted a CAN that was a little easier to clean so I went with the Hydra SS. Yes, it is a bit heaver but not by much and on my Ruger PC Charger 22 with an 8.5 bbl you do not notice.
The tone (or should I say no sound, just bolt slap) sounds great running CCI STD Valicity 1070 FPS ammo. I also tried it on a Ruger MK4 Tactial 4.4 bbl and it worked as expected with the same ammo, very quiet except for the bolt slap!
I am very Happy with it and would have no problem buying another one.

I have only used this on a bolt action .22lr and I was using CCI suppressor ammo. This is super quiet right out of the box!
