The CGS Mod 9 efficiently combines durability, sound suppression, and lightweight materials. With a stainless steel blast baffle and an aluminum baffle stack, CGS developed a 9mm silencer with impressive sound reduction, durability, and balance on the end of your handgun. The highly advanced piston assembly reduces first round pop and allows for an impressive 12-point rotational adjustment for point of impact shift.
In addition to being at home on a handgun, the MOD 9 is rated up to 300 blk subsonic. The performance of the second-generation Orion baffles excels on both pistol and carbine and are designed to help protect the aluminum tube from carbon fouling and debris. This forward-thinking design allows for quick and easy cleaning and disassembly (tool included) so you can spend more time shooting and less time cleaning.
Its easy-to-clean design also means that the CGS MOD-9 can be used on .22lr rimfire hosts. This versatile suppressor offers high performance and a ton of versatility in a compact, lightweight package.

The CGS MOD 9 is ready to mount to your handgun right out of the box, it includes a 1/2×28 piston and booster assembly. You can also easily adapt the MOD-9 for use on rifles and rimfires with the addition of a fixed barrel spacer or 3 Lug mount.

Guess i’m one of the unlucky ones, it blows stuff back in my face on every shot and yes i have everything tight and baffles lined up. it heats up after about ten rounds and then they fly everywhere. wish i would looked at a different brand

This can will not run right out of the box. Make sure to lube the piston and use a beefier spring, as the stock one is terrible and will not allow your gun to cycle properly. After addressing the spring issue, it ran pretty well and very quietly. Pretty satisfied overall, considering it was cheaper than most other 9mm suppressors I’ve seen. I just wish CGS would address the spring issue.

This was my first silencer purchase.. and I’m very satisfied. I was told to get a Dead Air but I didn’t want to drop that kind of money. So I picked CSG Mod 9 because it was cheap. But with that being said . It’s cheap but HIGHLY effective! This Mod 9 is crazy quite ! I love it !

The spring is way too weak to function as it should, a $10 spring from Griffin solved the issue. Got it on a major sale so for $289 still worth it.

My first suppressor was the cgs mod9sk and I was impressed by the quality and performance so I bought the longer one. The cgs mod 9 FS is ridiculously quiet on a 9mm carbine. It’s an affordable well made suppressor IMO.

Great product. Works great on all my 9mm’s except my Shadow Systems XR920. The gun now will not cycle using subsonic rounds, that work in my other 9mm’s? Not sure what the issue is here?

Quality product, great suppression even with supersonic rounds. It runs perfectly on my MP-5, clean on my Sig P320 9mm. Customer service at CGS has been top-notch as new to suppressors and had several questions regarding cleaning. Make sure you get the piston spacer if you are going to use it on a fixed barrel. Piston Spring works great on floating barrel. Yet to clean, although easily disassembled.
