CGS Nautilus 45 Suppressor
The Nautilus trims weight to 10.5 ounces and length to 8.6 inches with a slim 1.375-inch diameter, making it one of the lightest full-size .45 cans on the market. Its second-generation Orion baffles and stainless blast chamber deliver top-tier sound reduction while shielding the aluminum tube from carbon. A special-cut piston reduces first-round pop and offers twelve impact-shift positions so point of aim stays true across different hosts. The can ships with a .578 × 28 piston and disassembly tool for easy cleaning; additional pistons are available for metric and 9/16 threads. User-serviceable baffles slide out in seconds, and CGS backs everything with a lifetime warranty. Light, quiet, and simple to maintain – Nautilus is ready for pistols and pistol-caliber carbines alike.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Great fit on the FNX 45 can’t wait to get more CGS products.

If you’re looking for the quietest pistol suppressor on the market, look no further, this out performs all of my other pistol cans including the Osprey…on 9mm it’s also ridiculously quiet

Excellant suppressor! The quietest 45 suppressor I’ve shot to date. It’s hard to beat the value and quality produced by the folks at CGS!

This is my first can. So far only used it on a CZ Scorpion, but it works amazingly. My only gripe is there is no included tool to remove the booster housing. I definitely recommend picking up a Warren Tools wrench for it.

Very nice suppressor. Runs perfect on my Glock 21 and other guns. Had to install suppressor height sights. It will unscrew a bit so you have to check in now and then to make sure it stays tight. It also blows a small amount of exhaust gasses out around the connection points sometimes even when it’s tight, but nothing that concerns me. Reduces the sound down to around cap gun levels so no hearing protection is required. That’s shooting standard ACP FMJ ammo. I wish it was a bit quieter, but this is my first suppressor so I don’t have anything to compare it to. The ability to slightly rotate the suppressor once it’s on the barrel to change POI didn’t really do much for me at typical handgun ranges. Perhaps you could dial it in if you were going to leave it on the gun, but I swap this over to other firearms and also use an adapter and the piston eliminator for other firearms and calibers. One suppressor with multiple applications. As you go down in bullet caliber i.e 9mm and 22LR, it gets slightly louder as you would expect, but still not enough to need hearing protection. This thing gets dirty. For cleaning, I just break it down, soak it in warm soapy water, scrub it with a brush, rinse, dry and then wipe it down with an oily rag. Be sure to oil the gasket. I’m very happy with it and would buy it again.

Easy to use great sound reduction used on 9mm ar pistols,0n a 1911, and a fn 509 perfection on all

CGS did a fantastic job engineering these suppressors! Fit and finish is superb. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommend the Nautilus .45 to anyone who desires the best pistol can on the market.

I’m honestly shocked this can doesn’t get more love. This is the first pistol suppressor that I’ve owned but after testing out the Obsidian 45, Omega 45, and even the Mod 9 after the fact, I’m very happy with the purchase. I run this on my Henry .357 Big Boy, Glock 21, and CZ 75 SP-01 and the tone is incredible! Not to mention this is one of the lightest (if not THE lightest) .45 suppressors on the market that’s .300 BLK rated. CGS makes excellent quality cans and accessories that don’t break the bank and I’d highly recommend them to everyone.

Great sounding, and extremely light for its size.

With earpro, this can is REALLY quiet. Being able to adjust (repeatably) for POI shift is probably the single greatest benefit to the Nautilus. Having the steel portion be the serialized part is brilliant.
Like all other pistol cans for use on Browning-style actions, you may get enough blowback to make the optic unusable in low light after a few magazines.
45 suppressors are always underwhelming with regard to sound suppression, that’s simply the nature of a can with that large of an opening. They are all long and unwieldy. In general, they don’t provide too much of an advantage unless you’re wearing earpro. Because of that, they’re basically all merely items to make training more hearing safe. I would not use any of them without earpro.
There are other lightweight options on the market, but this one seems to allow for the greatest ability to decrease POI shift. Some suppressors will shift the POI more than 4 inches inside of 15 yards.
Thankfully, this can is easy to dissamble and clean. Maintaining the alignment of the baffles during reassembly is mildly tedious.

Great can but not as quiet as the Obsidian. Superb build quality
Michael M –
Very light for sure but not quite the what I was expecting on performance.
Kenneth S –
CGS is without question one of, if not the best suppressor manufacturers around. Exceptional quality and affordable. Both the nautilus and mod 9 belong in any collection. I proudly own both any highly recommend.

Took a total of 4 business days to get approved and received it from my dealer same day. Made everything very easy and seamless for my first can. Used it on my 1911 and had no issues. Made a .45 sound as quiet as a .22 if not quieter. Very easy to disassemble and clean. Ordered a 1/2×28 piston to be able to use with 9mm and excited to hear how it sounds with that.
Rory Johnson –
Lighter than I thought it would be. After the first couple shots the silencer is way quieter. Looks sick on my pistol.
