The Sierra 5 is compatible with any Dead Air R-series front cap, like the Sandman E-Brake. What does the Dead Air E-Brake do? Sounds great, has slightly lower tone then the sandman s so it sounder quieter with being about an inch shorter in length.

Tried it on a 22 Creedmoor bolt gun and was impressed with the sound suppression and accuracy, shot under a half inch at 100yds with the can. Also tried it on an AR with 62gr green tips and it was right at hearing safe I would say.

Really pleased with the Sierra 5. Super intuitive to install, reduces a massive amount of the noise (more than I was expecting on an 11.85in rifle) and handles flash very well. It’s just a tad heavy but not too bad and at the end of my rifle it doesn’t affect the weight or make the gun feel too front heavy. It balances nicely. It does get hot in a big ole’ hurry so I would not recommend for something like an SPR because the heat mirage would kill your use of magnification.

I’m sure this is a great can. Unfortunately I have to send it back. I received the can and it absolutely looked fantastic, but the xeno mount was locked on the threads of the supressor body. It is currently on its way back to DeadAir.

My first suppressor, so I don’t have a whole lot to go off of. However I will say it brings tears of joy every time I squeeze the trigger! Very easy install, I’ve put about 300 rounds through it and everything is still tight. Overall very satisfied, we’ll see if it remains that way when it comes time to clean it.
