An updated version of the original 762 Mini, the 762 Mini 2 is 2.2” shorter and 2.5 ounces lighter than its big brother, the full-size 762 RC2; however, it is built to the same demanding standards. In addition, the cutting-edge internal gas venting systems are still present in the Mini 2, which optimize the reduction in back pressure, cyclic rates, and blowback. In other words, this can provides a quiet, enjoyable shooting experience that 7.62mm rifle enthusiasts will appreciate. Great can. Mounts fast and easy to the surefire muzzle devices. Does an excellent job on 300blk, both supers and subs. Pretty decent suppression for 556 too. Takes the edge off the impulse and makes it much more enjoyable to shoot for longer periods. Handles 308 just fine as well, but there’s no “silencing” going on there. It does make my AR-10 slightly quieter, and takes the crack off the sound.

At this price point, the suppressor should come with a mount for the firearm. Keep in mind that you will need a separate suppressor adapter ($150) before you can use this item. This is an excellent suppressor if you look for something that is short.

I have this suppressor on my Sig Cross rifle in 308 caliber. It does everything that I want including some recoil reduction when firing supersonic heavier hunting loads.

Great suppressor, I run this on my larue 308, and several 556 guns, SR-15, Giselle, LMT MRP, it just plain works! minimal back pressure on all platforms and great sound suppression, no need for tuning or adjustable gas blocks. this isn’t the quietest suppressor on the market but the 7.62 mini is a saolid choice for multi cal. around .1mil poi shift at 100 and didn’t need to re zero.

Surefire’s 7.62 Mini2 is absolutely worth the added cost. It’s durable, sounds great on my 14.5” and 16” AR15 and my .300 BLK is movie quiet even with the smaller can. Mounting system is really solid and makes the can easy to remove. Cleaning is quick and simple, comes with a brush and nice case, no complaints there. I’ve taken this out coyote hunting and added media to make the first shot quieter. Performed like a champion, hid my firing position perfectly and produced the tiniest flash signature. Nailed 3 coyotes from the same hide with it at night. Pairs really well with my thermal and there’s almost zero POA/POI shift. Definitely worth the money.

Great can. Easy on and off with the QD system. Can did not affect the rifle zero at all. Mounted on a SigSauer 716i AR-10 7.62. Definitely quiets the gun down to safe hearing levels. I still use earpro while shooting but I think I would be fine without if I had to shoot without hearing protection.

The quality of the surefire SOCOM is unquestionable. The 762 mini two is for people who want a quick detach return to zero very small suppressor that essentially makes the firearm go hearing safe. If you’re looking for a super quiet suppressor for 300 blackout this is NOT it. I would say it sounds somewhat like a 22 rifle or perhaps a framing nailer with subsonic ammo. (8 and 10 1/2 inch barrel) Which for me is perfectly fine I suspected that was going to be the case and again for the small package that makes it go hearing safe and mutes the vast majority of the muzzle report ,I think it’s great for what I was looking for. I may be more impressed with its ability to perceptually completely mute the muzzle report from supersonic rounds, especially the 110 grain. I could only perceive the supersonic crackdown range. I shot all day with no hearing protection and was completely fine. 308 is a bit louder and hearing protection might be prudent if you’re going to shoot more than a couple rounds. Excellent subcompact suppressor for 762. I did not shoot it on 556 yet but it’s my understanding that it’s rather impressive on that as well. Super small compact, quick detach, returned to zero, hearing safe. If you have realistic expectations for such a small suppressor, then you’ll be as pleased as I am.

Have not mounted this lovely product on my rifle yet, but you can see the quality in this product. The can just feels solid and looks like it can take a beating and still come through swinging. Why 4 stars than 5 is mainly for the price. But it is a minor negative, you get what you pay for and this is top notch quality.
