This is my first suppressor so I do not have a lot to compare it too. I gave it four stars simply for that reason. It works great, easy to disassemble and clean. I would say perfect balance in price and performance. You can spend more on a suppressor that is lighter and maybe a bit more sound reduction but I doubt it is noticeable to the adverse user

I ordered this can for my Omega Gideon Shadow in 45 ACP. I will save a lot of you who read this a lot of time and hassle. There are two main different types of HK Tri-Lug adapters. There is a 9mm type and a 40S&W/10mm/45ACP type. Most of the excellent suppressor companies out there only make a 9mm Tri-Lug interface for their cans which is fine because 9mm is so much more popular than the larger pistol calibers. That being said, Griffin Armament is one of the few companies that makes large type Tri-Lug interfaces for their cans. Unfortunately, the Omega Gideon Shadow has an oversized threaded portion on its barrel with a tri-lug that is too large even for the Griffin interface. However, if you have a gunsmith cut the tri-lug off the Omega barrel and rethread it, the Griffin Armament and SilencerCo 45.ACP Tri-Lug adapters will fit the Griffin Armament large Tri-Lug interface for this can. I hope all this nerdy technical information helps you make an informed purchasing decision and not have to deal with the headache that I did.

Speeds up mag dumps 2-3x due to the recoil reduction. Really takes the bite out of .45acp, even +P. Easy to service. Make sure to use blue Loctite between booster to can threads as it’s easy to over-tq the piston on to the barrel.
