In today’s suppressor manufacturing realm, having an option as adaptable with the times as Griffin Armament sure is refreshing. Realizing that their modular Revolution 9 and Revolution 45 pistol cans somewhat handcuff a corner of the market, their ingenious minds designed the new Resistance series of silencers, essentially getting rid of the modular feature employed in the Revolution series for those that did not need/want the ability to adjust the length.
Centered in Wisconsin, Griffin Armament was founded by two military brothers hell-bent on preserving firearm enthusiasts’ hearing. Their mission is commendable, as is the company’s goal of passing along savings to suppressor users. The Resistance 9 unit exemplifies this practice.
Further Intel
Although the modular concept is desirable to most suppressor fanatics, it also makes certain cans unaffordable or unattractive to some enthusiasts because that feature is not a necessity to them. The Resistance 9 silencer offers all shooters a high-quality, effective 9mm unit at a fraction of the modular cost, which should be music to your ears (along with the premium sound reduction this can provides).
Moreover, the Resistance 9 is a user-serviceable option, allowing for more time to be spent actually shooting at the shooting range. Crafted with an aluminum tube and heat-treated stainless steel baffles that include anti-rotation features, this silencer ensures maximum strength and sound suppression. This suppressor also features Griffin’s patented ECO-FLOW™ baffle technology. The provided takedown tools allow the user simple disassembly for maintenance, keeping the Resistance 9 stealth and sleek… Not to mention the envy of other shooters.

Griffin makes excellent products! This suppressor is very quiet, lightweight and is easy to maintain. I am very happy with it!

This is my first suppressor and I love it. I’ve shot 200 rounds of Federal 150gr syntech through it with no problems. Do not need ear protection at all. Easy to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. I did buy a fixed mount to attach to my PCC. Light weight which is very nice. I’m thinking about getting a resistance45 suppressor.

This is my second 9mm can, it lives on a CZ Scorpion. I ended up buying Griffin’s direct-thread fixed-barrel adapter because it replaces the entire booster and saves a considerable amount of weight. Sound suppression is great, I love the click together baffles for ease during reassembly. No complaints in the year or so that I have owned and used it.
It was significantly less expensive than my first can, and in its fixed-barrel configuration the weight is comparable.
Overall extremely happy with it.

Only thing that sucks is the waste of time wait time it is great value

What a great 9mm suppressor for the money!

Very happy with not only this product, but with the entire experience. Silencer Shop has built out a process and network to make purchasing suppressors as simple and pain free as possible. Great support on the front and back end of the transaction. I had a manufacturer’s issue with what was not included in my purchase that should have been, and even though the issue was not Silencer Shop’s they still got right into the middle of it to take care of me. The can itself is great. Easy to configure with either a booster spring for pistols, or a fixed spacer for carbines. Changing set-up was simple and all the tools required were included – except an oven mitt!

This is my first suppressor, and so far so good! Assembly and maintenance are simple and straight forward. I have been using it on a Glock 9mm with the griffin cam-lok mount, and it attaches very quickly, easily, and firmly. Hand snug and its ready to go and does not come loose while the action cycles. I have also used it with the griffin blast shield/taper mount on a 300 blackout and a .243 bolt action deer hunting rifle, shooting it only 2-4 times before letting it cool. It has worked great shooting like this for hunting purposes and has never gotten too hot to handle. It really doesn’t seem to get all that hot in general. Everything I have shot so far is hearing safe and the subsonic ammo is very quiet. Overall a simple to use, versatile, and effective suppressor.

Love the Resistance 9 on my ptr 9ct, have it mounted using the Griffin tri lug as well. Great combo, build is top notch and the price is right.

Refiners Firarms in Anthem is my go to shop for any of my firearms or class III suppressors that I buy, If you think that the paperwork is not going to be something you can or want to handle, NO WORRIES, Jon and Dena at Refiners will help and guide you through the Entire process, and BEST of all they have a SilencerCo Kiosk at their store, so if you decide to go Suppressed or do a SBR, Trust them as I did, you won’t be dissappointed…They also have times when you can come to Ben Avery Range and shoot using your suppressor until you get your stamp…They also do training so if your a new or an existing shooter and want to become more proficient, give them a call…I personally Run Griffin Armament suppressors from the Silencer Shop, they are easy to service and have Never had an issue with them…

This supressor is built with great quality. The parts are sturdy, but the weight is less than desirable, atleast on pistol, PCC it is fine. The main downside to this supressor is to use it after paying everything and waiting for the tax stamp, you will need to order additional parts before you can use it which are a bit pricey on their own. The modularity of this supressor is nice though depending on the setup, I just wish it had come with the piston for direct thread out of the box. The performance of the supressor is very pleasing. I didn’t need plugs at all and was able to shoot all day without any unpleasantness.

Great suppressor and super fun to shoot

I am used to using a Bushwhacker-46, so I am used to a very suppressed shot sound signature. That said I was extremely disappointed on the first shots with this silencer…until I realized I was shooting with ear buds in and not ear-pro. So while this is not as quiet as my Bushwhacker-46, it is much lighter, smaller, and easier to aim with. Overall, I recommend, not the most quiet, but plenty of sound reduction as after 50 rounds I had no problem with ear pain.

Have had my silencer for over a week and lack of parts available and support haven’t even been able to attach it to my gun. With very lackluster after sales support from everyone that I have had to deal with at both silencer shop and griffin (so much for “we will take care of everything”) I am out an advertised $100 credit. Nobody has been malicious but everyone seems to have a “sucks to suck” attitude.
There are other “one stop, do everything” shops for tax stamp and nfa items looks like I will be trying those in the future.
(I love midland armory though, they always give 110% every time I walk in the door)

Order # 88001276 The product I’m sure will work fine. My issue is with the Order and how it was handled. I made the purchase on May 7th, It was approved on May 9th. Well Done ! My issue is with that I also purchased the one time trust with the Tax Stamp. But Silencer Shop didn’t see the trust and the order was approved prematurely. Now I’ve been told I will have to purchase another Tax Stamp to get a Trust to go with this order.
