It’s brings all of my rifles (7.62×39, 5.56, 300bk) down to hearing safe 556 Is still rather loud but my ears don’t ring at all after I shoot with it, 300 subs is with out a doubt movie quite an it takes the edge off 7.62×39 all in all with it being my first suppressor I’m very pleased with it

Great product for the money

Very well made and the process went very smoothly. Received the suppressor in about 2 weeks from start to finish. Dead Air delivers again!
Michael Darnall –
I bought this suppressor mostly for its versatility. Once I buy the adaptors I need for my firearms I’ll be able to use it for many different calibers. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but I’m still having fun with it. It seems to be a good quality suppressor so far. Good value
ZACH R –
Does a great job with diffrent calibers, love it on a lever action 357
Daniel M –
Love this but not sure why they ship with the adapter size it arrives with. My primary host is a LWRC 45 SMG so I had to order the correct thread adapter to fit – seems odd to me but all-in-all I’m thrilled with versatility of the Primal. Dead Air knocked this one out of the park. I’ll likely order another within 6 months considering it’s a swiss army knife of suppressors.

Can’t beat a Dead Air!

Worked better than expected still testing it but absolutely liking it so far would recommend to other’s

The Primal is a great suppressor! It’s very effective at quieting down my 45-70, and I look forward to trying with other calibers. It’s my first Dead Air suppressor, and I’m glad I decided to purchase it.

Works great for 450 Bushmaster with honady suppressor ammo. Process was quick, verified serial nimber on thursday approval back on friday. Picked it up next day.
John M –
I have not shot anything through this can yet. But the fit and finish are great. I checked the alignment to the bore on a couple host rifles and it’s perfectly concentric so not worried about any baffle or endcap strikes. Will be excited to see how it souds.

The Dead Air Primal is amazing. Quality and sound are phenomenal. Looking forward to shooting it alot more in the coming days.

I got this for the ability to use on all hosts. It’s not great for sound suppression on my PCC. Not that I expected super quiet, but it’s considerably louder than I was expecting for some reason. I also wasn’t aware that it needed additional attachment hardware when I got it. I bought a direct thread adapter for an additional $75, but that’s just one caliber. I’ll need another one if I shoot larger calibers. I know they leave it open for QD mounts, but it seemed weird it didn’t come with direct thread adapters which seem like they would be pretty inexpensive to include and are the minimum necessary equipment to use the suppressor in the first place (ie- like my .22 suppressors). It’s not meant to be a complaint, but word to people interested in suppressors but have never bought one. Be prepared for buying additional mounting options BEFORE your approval comes in because you’re going to want to use them right away!
Also, it causes a ton more blowback from the bolt (I’m not sure that can be helped with suppressors anyway). Be sure to wear eye-pro when shooting suppressed.

Put the Primal on my USP 45 tactical. As quiet as a pneumatic nail gun. Easily eat safe. Couldn’t be happier, highly recommend.
Devon –
Great suppressor on quietness and well made. No need for hearing protection when shooting subsonic or supersonic ammo. I highly recommend this can. I mainly shoot it out of a marlin 1895 sbl 45-70 ruger made. In video is two rounds one subsonic other supersonic
Kodee L –
Great quality and love the versatility!
Robert S –
Very light versatile suppressor. Works great.

The Primal is very modular and really does do everything for a suppressor. I bought the different end caps for 5.56, 6.5, and 7.62. I originally shot my .300 Black Out with the .46 end cap and wasn’t impressed. I changed to the 7.62 amd it made a world of difference. I would encourage everyone to change end caps to get the most out of this suppressor.
Joshua S –
Great can overall and very versatile being able to shoot many different calibers. Just what I was looking for to shoot my marlin 1895 sbl in 45-70 govt. Wish the thread adaptor was easier to remove but otherwise great product
Grant A –
I put this on my FNX-45 and it is pretty freaking cool. I wish the weight was a little less, but I really like the suppressor. Shoots well, and much quieter than expected. I really like that it’s a universal suppressor and can go on multiple calibers. Recommended

Great service and excelent product.

The Primal is perfect for my situation. It is so versatile, I can use it with every rifle I own. It is just what I needed. Performs wonderfully!
Lewis R –
Gets the job done.
Richard W –
I bought this can for my Marlin 45-70. I also use it on a 300 blk out , 556, 308 and I’ve even put it on a few pistols. Amazing can. 300 blk out with the 30 cal end cap is super quiet. 45-70 with subs is amazing ! When you get the can it comes with the 5/8-24 direct threads so ur gonna have to buy everything else you need & it does get a lil pricey. So keep that in mind. With that being said it’s an amazing can & it supressed everything very well ! And some rounds fantastic ! 45-70 & 45acp is amazing . 300 blk out is amazing. 556 doesn’t suppress well without a dedicated can but it helps for sure ! Overall amazing can. Get 1 can and u can supress everything you own
Adolph Acosta –
Muti can runs well on my 300 blackout and my 9mm smg so quiet it is a great silencer
Bruce F –
Great can. Easy to clean. Bid reduction in db’s and kick.
Mark H –
Very nice product
Daryl G –
Bought this for my 45/70 so I can shoot outside without having to have 2 sets of ear protection on
It is hearing safe without any using supper sonic rounds and wispier quite using sub sonic
Highly recommended suppressor!!

Dead air made a winner in the Primal.
Nick Laura –
End cap has so much finish on the threads it makes swapping the direct thread to the hub impossible. Haven’t even put it on my rifle and I’m already pissed off about the poor QC
Dylan S –
Love it, super versatile and easy to work on!
Burton O –
Set it up on 3 Carbines and 1 bolt gun with no problems and this is my first suppressor. This can is super strong.
Matt –
Sounds great on lever-action 300Blackout with the .30 caliber endcap. Still waiting on my .375 Raptor barrel to show up, so not sure how it sounds on larger capacity cartridges yet.
