The short configuration is optimized to reduce gas blowback while maintaining solid sound performance, while the long configuration is for those seeking maximum suppression. With universal threads (1.375X24), the SurgeX is compatible with any of your favorite HUB mounts and comes with the all-new Rugged Stainless RUM. The SurgeX provides minimal zero shift without accuracy degradation of your rifle and provides the durability you want in your silencer.

SurgeX is one of my favorite cans and top 30 cal can. Really quiet on 308 and great tone on 556. The modular ability makes this a superior can to most all 30 cal cans. I highly reccomend!

Buy once cry once .. this is it.
The modular aspect is very convenient and easy to breakdown.
Running it on a tavor 7 .. the DB reduction is fantastic. It’s what you’d expect.
The rugged dual taper system is pretty nice. Something to rival deadairs keymo.
Other than that, its a straightforward product .. pew science will help you with the rest.
Least but not last, Ruggeds professionalism and their unconditional lifetime warranty is a very nice added bonus. Not that you’ll ever need to use it… if you’re looking for quality, punch it

The wait time was short, 14 days from notice they were in stock and the paper work submitted, approved and suppressor in my possession.
The quality an workmanship apear to be excellent. I’m undecided what to install it on at this time. But it’s another checked off the bucket list.

Steyr Scout .308 bolt action suppressed with the SurgeX sounds exactly like the unsuppressed .22lr bolt action I grew up shooting with grandad and still have. Firing pin, very tight crack, then either dirt or gong. Beautiful!

The Rugged SurgeX exceeded my expectations! In long configuration it reduces the sound signature of my 7.5″ 300BLK AR-15, subsonic and supersonic loads, to a “hearing safe” level with no ear protection. In short (K) configuration it is still very quiet but not hearing safe. But don’t follow my example kids, wear your ear muffs!

This is a Great suppressor. Great for 308 and 556 and also you get 2 sizes in one!

Great suppressor quite enough to hear bullet impact it does add some weight to the muzzle but nothing to worry about Silencer Shop made getting the SurgeX easy took a little while but definitely worth the wait
