The DSX’s core is an asymmetrical monolithic steel construction, a “monocore.” Monocore silencer design is a mature technology in the modern silencer market, known for its simplicity and alignment advantages.
The DSX is designed for duty use and a lifetime of ownership. It’s user-serviceable and can be disassembled with common tools for occasional maintenance.
The MSX suppressor line by Maxim Defense is specifically designed to minimize the increase in cyclic rate and gas blowback of a suppressed weapon system. Primary design features include the significant reduction of sound signature, decreasing flash signature, reduction of recoil, and increased accuracy.

Best suppressor I have ever used. Quietest too. Love the design feature that cleans the carbon as you twist the cover off. User serviceable so don’t be afraid to use it on rimfire too. Full auto rated as well. There are very few things that are built for life and this is one of them. Bonus that the serialized suppressor part is the base which is able to be separated from the rest of the can in case of a baffle strike so that its easily fixed. Comcentricity is perfect on it as well. Nothing not to like except a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Pew science also rated it as the quietest suppressor they have tested as of this writing. I also called Maxim directly with a couple questions I had and they spent 45 min on the phone with my questions. Seems like a great, stand-up company.
