New for 2022 is the hard-use rimfire AAC suppressor the Halcyon. Advanced Armament Company manufactured this durable suppressor from 17-4 PH stainless steel and titanium, and it’s ready for whatever you throw at it. AAC silencers are known for impeccable build quality and the Halcyon suppressor is lightweight, modular, and is rated for use with up to 5.7x28mm ammo and is full-auto rated with .22 LR.
This modular AAC suppressor is only 3.41 inches long and weighs just 4.5 ounces in its short configuration. The Halcyon suppressor is easily user serviceable as it does not require tools to disassemble or to add the front module. If you’re seeking maximum sound suppression, operate the AAC Halcyon in its full length configuration. which is still light weight at only 6.4 ounces and compact at 5.8 inches.
If you’re looking for a great rimfire silencer, you should consider the AAC Halcyon. You’ll maximize utility and sound suppression when you get this suppressor. The AAC Halcyon is caliber rated for .17 HMR, .22 WMR, and 5.7×28, and full-auto (on .22 LR). This makes the Halcyon one of the quietest rimfire suppressors: its excellent sound suppression performance (~42 dB reduction or approximately 114 dB in full configuration on a Walther P-22) makes it a must have.

Exactly what I was hoping for!

Great product! Very quiet and the size versatility is a nice feature. Also own the Mask and this is just as quiet

It’s a blast to shoot 22LRs with this little suppressor. My wife loves to just plink with it. We sometimes use it for pest control. Shooting 22 CBs out of it for racoons and possums is so quiet you can hear the hammer fall.

It’s my first silencer and it’s for my .22lr.
I read a bunch of reviews and found that AAC products were good quality and the price point was spot on.
I’ve tested with CCI subsonic ammo, and i’m extremely impressed with how quiet this is. I don’t have anything to compare it against (seeing it’s my first) but I couldn’t be more impressed.

Great suppressor and the modularity is a nice feature. I also have a Dead Air Mask and this is very similar in most regards with the added feature of modularity. They are both serviceable. Highly recommend for Rimfire suppression.

The Halcyon is my first can and it’s nice. I’m very happy with the performance so far. Put it on a CZ 457, Hammerli Force B1, and a TX22 and they all sounded amazing with subs. Literally movie quiet and a bit shocking. Thanks a ton to SS for the quick turnaround.

The Halcyon suppressor has been great on my rimfire calibers. Takes down the bark of a 17HMR very well and make 22LR sound like a pellet gun!

Nice lightweight DUAL suppressor. Easy to disassemble and clean( using brushes and compressed air). Nice feature allows short configuration for pistols and long for rifles, etc. With NIOSH DB iphone app, ave decrease in sound with pistol long configuration is 27db and short is 20 db( using 1270fps ammo). Not much difference in sound with 1070fps standard velocity ammo ( in pistols, the 2-4″ barrels dont allow ammo to reach advertised fps). Interestingly, the sound DB readings for cycling the action on the pistol was the same as with the long configuration shooting 1070fps ammo at 10 feet reading!!

Great little can, works great and easy to clean.

Great silencer. Well built, super quiet.

The wait was almost 6 months and when I received my AAC Halcyon it apparently had a manufacturing flaw that wouldn’t allow it to remain tight on any firearm. Returned it and I’m back to the waiting game for 3-5 weeks. Not happy.

Well made, but not silent enough for me.

Great can!

I like the versatility of the suppressor, and being able to configure it in different ways. Seems to be well built and designed. Ive only used it for 22lr, and honestly was expecting it to be quieter than it is, BUT that’s not to say it doesn’t do it’s job. Expectations were a little higher, but I’m still happy with purchase and performance.

Good quality, the modular design is a good option. Noticeable louder in short version!

Out of the box it appears to be well made and is able to be disassembled for easy cleaning. This is a plus because most “plinking” rimfire ammunition tends to burn dirty. The baffles are slotted for alignment for easy reassembly. It does especially well when hosted to a ruger 22/45 pistol or Ruger Mach variant. You can tell a significant difference in sound reduction if you are shooting “suppressor quiet” ammunition around the 1000fps range. The standard or high velocity stuff 1300-1400 fps has the “crack” but is noticeably quieter than a 22 rifle without the can. Really no drastic difference in noise when shooting through a pistol. I intended to only really run it on a Ruger mach 4 tactical with quiet ammunition. It’s all about picking the right combo and I feel it’s matched near perfect. Sounds a lot like a pellet rifle or finish nailer. I ran both Winchester and cci suppressor ammunition approx 100 rounds each and several 100 rounds of standard velocity.

Pretty awesome on my Ruger precision.22 lr. Quieter than my pellet guns using subsonic ammo. I’m able to target shoot in my back yard again without freaking out the neighbors ❤️

Great product! Sound is almost non existent and the process was painless. Renewing my love for shooting !!

Great suppressor!

I like the fact it can be disassembled and it is made of quality materials. Also, it works exceptionally well.
