In its full configuration, the Ghost measures an appealing 8.75” and weighs a mere 12 ounces. On the other hand, the compact version is 6.2” long and only 9.6 ounces light. As mentioned, weight concessions were taken with the implementation of three different but effective build metals. Per usual, Dead Air did everything right when creating this silencer masterpiece. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s rated for all major pistol calibers, including .22LR and .300 Blackout. This Ghost is one spooky can!

Took a year but worth the wait. Direct thread to pistols works great 1/2×28 for 9mm and .578 for 45acp. 3 lugs work but wobble a little bit, I use these on s&w victory 22lr, cz scorpion 9mm and .357 lever action. When more funds are available, I will upgrade to keymicro adapter and devices for stable no wobble connection. The wobble doesn’t worry me shooting 22,9 and 357 being smaller than 45 a baffle strike should not occur. I am worried shooting a 45 carbine with 3 lug, it wobbles like 3mm at muzzle-5mm to tip of suppressor. It’s also easily serviceable. Get 1 but stick with direct thread for pistols and keymicro for rifle. Save money don’t go 3 lug!

I’ve only had a chance to use it once so far, but I’ve shot 9mm subs/supers and 300blk sub through this thing and am blown away by the sound reduction. Subsonic rounds sound like a pellet gun. The 9mm supers sound the same but with the noticeable supersonic crack. If not for the other shooters on the line I would have felt perfectly fine ditching the ear-pro. If I have one complaint it would be that the wrenches Dead Air sells on their website don’t really fit their mounting adapter collars very well but I guess they “technically” work as long as you’re careful. Also the cerakote finish is pretty delicate and scratches easy in my opinion. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do very well, plus it makes your gun look really really cool.

First DeadAir suppressor but own > 10. Only tool included was for front cap while others include spanner wrenches. Zero documentation was included. Accessories to mount on my Pcc’s are non existent. Can’t find a tri-lug after six (ish) months of searching. Looked at options for key-mo and also not available. Wish I would have secured those prior to decision. Settled for a piston to use on a few LH threaded HK and Sig pistols but feel this design is more geared towards carbines. This is a regrettable purchase and last DeadAir suppressor for me. Can’t recommend.

This is my first suppressor and I love it. I’d compare the sound of 45acp to a low powered nail gun. Love how modular it is, being able to disassemble completely and be able to assemble in a compact “K” configuration.

The Dead Air Ghost M is one of the best Modular pistol silencers available. Just don’t purchase it through this website. Silencershop has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They artificially inflate their “Free tax stamp sales” so you’re still paying for the stamp (you can literally watch the price adjust if you’ve been on that page since before the sale started ). To me that’s lying and dishonest sales tactics; dare I say scamming.
When I placed an order they messed up several aspects of the order. When I tried calling them (multiple times), the average hold time is 30 minutes. When I finally got a hold of a rep, he gave inaccurate information about a topic I dint even ask about. After explaining to him that my concern had nothing to do with what he was inaccurately talking about (this was very difficult because he wasn’t listening), he said he would have to look into it (with an attitude) and HUNG UP ON ME. Mind you, I had just placed a 3K plus order and had another 3K plus order that had been on back order for several month at this point. Not to mention all the other purchases Ive made through this website (this Ghost M being one of them). Needless to say, as a result of a plethora of issues I’ve experienced with this company, I canceled both my orders, and will not give this company any more of my money
Honestly, the only good thing I can say about this company is when it did eventually get to the point that I requested a refund, they complied and didn’t try to charge any restocking fees.
