The OSS HX-QD Magnum Ti is designed to deliver maximum sound performance on any 5.56 rifle to .338 Lapua Magnum rifle. Beyond its versatility, the HX-QD Magnum Ti is only 18.3 ounces and 8.73-inches. With its stainless steel and titanium construction, this OSS suppressor is built for durability. Not only does the HX-QD Magnum Ti feature reduced blowback and back pressure, it also boasts impressive sound performance and repeatability.
Using the OSS patented Flow-Through® technology , the HX-QD Magnum Ti redirects expanding gasses in a helical pattern, allowing gas to expand and cool while moving through the silencer. This unique design also allows the expanding gas to generate torque, securing it onto the OSS mount, preventing the suppressor from backing off. With its versatility and maneuverability, the OSS HX-QD Magnum Ti is a great addition to your host firearms.

Not as quiet as my Silencerco Omega on 300 Blackout with subsonics. On the Savage 110 .338, boarder line hearing safe but the perceived recoil was less than the factory brake, much to my surprise.
While time will tell if it’s helping with fouling on the Blackout (one reason for the purchase), I am pleased, overall, and loo forward to many more rounds down range.

Absolutely no gas blowback in my eyes or face in gas impingement AR rifles. Solid suppressor and performs well. Not the quietest suppressor on the market but no hearing protection needed when shooting. A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Tech in this thing is amazing. OSS makes high quality long lasting suppressors.

Oss did a great job on this one . With the variety of QD mounts I can run on almost every rifle I own from my 338 bolt gun down to 5.56 gas gun. After hundred of rounds not one malfunction on any AR and no adjustment to the gas system. It is expensive with all of the QD mounts but I only need one quality can!

I currently use this can for .308, 300 BO, and 556. I am really happy with the amount of options I can use this can for, It really does fit all of my rifle needs. I do not have any issues with gas pressures, or problems in my weapons cycling. I can screw on and go, screw off and go.
TLDR: I can not recommend this product enough.

Put this on my Christensen Arms MPR 300 PRC and it was exactly what it needed. Major difference in recoil and made sound much more manageable with 25db over the ear muffs

This suppressor is fitted on four rifles, thanks to the variety of sizes for the muzzle brake. Sound suppression is remarkably good, even with the LM. POI shift is insignificant; the light weight is an advantage as well. I could not be more satisfied with this choice.

This is a pricey can, and it won’t be the quietest can you can get for a 30 cal, but it IS great at not getting blow back addition into the face of a user with a semi-auto. Even though it doesn’t use baffles, it still will allow you to shoot a bolt action with enough suppression that you don’t hurt your ears when hunting. And when a friend fires it from 40+ yards away, it sounds almost funny, like they shot a fake gun of some sort, though that might be partially from the adrenalin of a deer hunt. Very satisfied, and this is not the type of can you can make yourself and Form 1 it, which is a major reason to get it, imo.

Flow thru is the only way to go. No blow back, no weapon adjustments needed. Worth the money, wide range of calibers, weight not a problem. OSS is my only go to suppressor.

i grew up watching too many movies thou I was a little surprised at the decibel level that remained. I did not expect it to be whisper quite. but it was quite a bit louder then I thought it might be. overall happy with it but keep your plugs handy.

Quiet at the shooters ear on a Falkor Phantom 5.56 w a 10.5” barrel. Mitigates flash entirely after initial shots. Sends gas down range. Shot indoors without hearing protection. Hard to believe? Oss is the only way to go if you don”t like to be limited. I can run this on my 338 Norma mag and pop it off and put it on my 308 Galil and not have to change anything with my gas settings. That is kinda a big deal when trying to suppress AK type rifles.
