SilencerCo designed the Warlock II with a unique user-serviceable baffle design that is easy to disassemble, which is a vital feature for .22LR silencers. I received my Warlock 22 supressor three days ago and brought it to the range today. I have it on a Browning UDX with a SilencerCo. 5.5 inch threaded barrel. With no supressor installed my pistol gave an 80 db reading on my meter using CCI 1070 fps cartridges. With the supressor attached that reading was 54 db. I noticed a very slight increase in recoil. Accuracy was not affected. I shot 200 rounds and found the pistol had slightly more fouling than usual. At around 4 ounces the supressor helps keep the sights on target. Loads of fun, quietly.

At this price, $195, I figured I couldn’t go wrong and I was correct. So light, 3oz, that it doesn’t upset the balance of my Ruger MK IV and the noise suppression is excellent. I put 100 rounds through it then took it apart. Serious lead deposits on all baffles especially the first two and the lead resisted a special rather expensive suppressor cleaner – can’t use an ultrasonic on aluminum. So, I tried soaking the baffles in good ol’ Hoppe’s 9 overnight. The deposits wiped off all but the first two baffles with tissue paper! The other two came clean with the aid of brush. Bottom line: Great can, great price and not a nightmare to clean.
