The Rotex 556 Compact suppressor is a great choice for those seeking a balance between sound and signature reduction and overall length. The Rotex Compact isat home on 10.5-inch and shorter carbines, but is ideally suited for 11.5- to 14.5-inch barrels, where it provides the best ratio of sound and flash reduction for its size.Constructed using laser bed fusion manufacturing techniques, our traditionally baffled Rotex Compact rifle suppressor in 5.56 is constructed of 718 Inconel and iscompletely weldless. Each suppressor is threaded 1.375x24TPI, making it fully HUB compatible, should you choose to mix and match your attachment interfaces. TheRotex ships with B&T’s Rotex-SF HUB assembly, which is compatible with all B&T Rotex flash hiders, as well as all of SureFire’s SOCOM flash hiders, Warcomps andmuzzle brakes.
The Print-X series will be available with a Bead-Blasted finish; wrench flats; Print-X tube texturing; an updated low-flash endcap and B&T’s high-performance, patent-pending Star baffle system — finally available in 3D printed form.

Using this on a 12” piston LMT 5.56. It’s an excellent can. Not quite hearing safe, but reduces the concussive “boom” to a loud “hiss”. The mount is much better than a regular SF mount. No buttons needed just index and twist. Can cools off pretty quickly too.

VBD-Retail is the best in the business. I ordered and had it to my local dealer(with an SS kiosk) in less than a week AND any questions along the way were answered in full detail. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
The rotex-C 5.56 with the surefire hub is less than 12oz. It is insanely lightweight for an inconel suppressor. I look forward to seasoning it well and getting some nice bronzing in the finish.

It pains me to write this review but the SF Hub that came with the suppressor did not fit on 2 different Surefire muzzle devices. I waited to get the suppressor then immediately had to send it back to B&T. I’m sure they will make it right but it’s still disappointing to spend that much money and not be able to use it. Hopefully they will get it back to me soon

So far I’m loving the Rotex, the QD system is very easy to use (I have a surefire warcomp as the host) sound and flash suppression is fantastic, and so far it seems to be a durable can.
