For a suppressor designed for the AK platform does the job well at minimizing flash and sound, however if you seek for a lighter AK suppressor, Putnik is the way.

Only real complaint I have is they list adapter as a 24m x 1 but it’s really a 24m x 1.5.

Coolest AK can, mine cycled subs no problem with the stock piston and it was crazy quiet for an AK. The adapter in it that it comes with (14mm LH) is almost seized in there and there’s 2 24mm thread pitch guns I wanna put this on and for some reason the adapter is impossible to get out and I have to blow torch it. Had to buy another collar for the new adapter which is no big deal but just know that you’ll need to buy accessories for the wolverine if you plan on putting it on a 74-pattern or 100-series or SLR/SAM series AK. I like that the can won’t walk off like this but it does take some finessing to make it fit rock solid that just requires you to spend a lot of time messing with it before you hit the range. At the 1st range day it skipped over the detent and had a little wiggle after a few mags but it didnt really matter cause of the staggered baffles. I later fixed the issue of it skipping the detent a day later but haven’t tested it since. I’m off to go buy a blow torch!

I absolutely love my Wolverine. Works great on my Slr-104ur 5.45×39. My only complaint is that the adapter was hard to find and I had to resort to gunbroker to get one. The can is also pretty heavy but it’s not a big deal. Overall would absolutely recommend

I installed this suppressor on my Zastava AK and fell in love. The back pressure is much lighter than expected and the rifle is whisper quiet, relatively speaking. I had always thought 9mm to be a relatively quiet caliber un-suppressed, but when compared an AK with this can, 9mm is pretty loud.

The suppressor is great. Not the quietest out there due its design but quiet enough. If you are looking for “combloc look” for your AK it is one to have. I am giving 4 stars only because the insert was seized and had to go back to DeadAir. I think that should have been caught during QC.

This thing is awesome. Extremely high quality, smaller than I expected, fit perfectly on my Zastava M70, and when using subsonic rounds, was quiet as a church mouse. And by quiet, I mean QUIET. It really is a thing of beauty.

Picked this up specifically for my Saiga just because it looks the part! and it’s awesome! Frankly the sound suppression really isn’t a focal Point but it sure is nice!
Overall I would suggest trying one if you want one!
The only negative was having to remove the pinned muzzle device. I’ll be installing the Jmac hub adapter setup so I can swap this between a few different setups! Overall I like it!

Awesome dedicated suppressor. Couldn’t be happier with how easy it was to install and operate. The whole process of obtaining the can was pretty straightforward and simple thanks to the shop I purchased it from. I still believe we should be able to walk out the door the same day, but oh well. The $$$ for this particular can is comparable to most other intermediate calibers, so no complaints there. I just wish all suppressors weren’t so pricey. Either way, awesome product!!!

The Dead Air Wolverine is one of the best AK silencers available, just don’t purchase it through this website. Silencershop has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They artificially inflate their “Free tax stamp sales” so you’re still paying for the stamp (you can literally watch the price adjust if you’ve been on that page since before the sale started ). To me that’s lying and dishonest sales tactics; dare I say scamming.
When I placed an order they messed up several aspects of the order. When I tried calling them (multiple times), the average hold time is 30 minutes. When I finally got a hold of a rep, he gave inaccurate information about a topic I dint even ask about. After explaining to him that my concern had nothing to do with what he was inaccurately talking about (this was very difficult because he wasn’t listening), he said he would have to look into it (with an attitude) and HUNG UP ON ME. Mind you, I had just placed a 3K plus order and had another 3K plus order that had been on back order for several month at this point. Not to mention all the other purchases Ive made through this website (this wolverine being one of them). Needless to say, as a result of a plethora of issues I’ve experienced with this company, I canceled both my orders, and will not give this company any more of my money
Honestly, the only good thing I can say about this company is when it did eventually get to the point that I requested a refund, they complied and didn’t try to charge any restocking fees.

make sure you measure out your threads, luckily DA sells thread adapter inserts (around 80-100usd) and its quite simple to swap out.
