The value this can gives is great. It is robust and very well built. The price is phenominal. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that it isn’t as quiet on my AR as my SilencerCo Omega 300. That is only a personal experience, no Db machine measuring. It could be a lot of factors.
I’m excited to try this on a 9mm PCC and Handgun.

This suppresor works very well on both firearms I use it on. The 9mm with the right ammo is indeed hearing safe. For 5.56 out of an AR, it greatly reduces the overall sound, preserving hearing. I definitely recommend this suppressor for anyone who is like me, starting out with suppressors and looking for one at good value that can be used on multiple caliber’s of firearms

This is my 3rd YHM suppressor. I have two TURBO T2’s in 5.56 and they have been great products.
I wanted a 9mm suppressor that would also flex onto the ruger american 16″ 350 legend. This fit the bill perfectly, and at a very reasonable price.
Suppression level on my 8″ CZ is great. 147 grains sound very pleasant to shoot. Sure, there are low DB cans out there, but at a much, much higher price tag. I’m happy with the performance of this little can.
The only downside, is the piston is not included if you are wanting to use on a pistol, and it’s out of stock in a lot of places.
YHM makes great quality products, at a no bs price.

Truly a great value for the quality and sound suppression you get. With this can it is possible but not recommended to fire without ear pro on. This is a great choice for any home defense weapon as you can fire in doors without any major hearing loss.

If you’re reading reviews you already know you want it. Trust your gut. This can is a fantastic product. It brings 9mm subsonic ammo to hearing safe levels. With the R9 on a Glock or a 9mm carbine I can’t tell a difference between suppressed subsonic 9mm and suppressed (spectra II) subsonic 22LR out of a pistol.
300 blk subs are insanely quiet as well. This can is awesome.

This suppressor is a great price compared to others with a much less in cost and does the same job as others. Great purchase, cannot understand why some others have such a high price. Spoke to many who have this unit and also own other brands. They see no difference from this one and the higher costing brands. Apparently Yankee Hill believes in fair pricing.

Have been waiting to get my hands on the R9 for almost a year and a half now and finally got lucky. Tested it on my 9mm PCC and I absolutely love it. I bought the Phantom Hub to replace the direct thread Hub since I have the Phantom QD break/flash hiders on my rifles and its been nothing short of amazing. Will definitely try to get one or two more of the YHM R9.

This suppressor is great! I purchased the R9 for use on a 9mm PCC and it has worked as intended. I was initially sceptical as some people have reported baffle strikes but I have not had any after a few hundred rounds. I am using the YHM HD 3-lug adapter to mount it to my pcc. I dont have a pistol with a threaded barrel to test its functionality but am mostly certain it would function fine with the proper mounting hardware. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this suppressor to anyone looking to either direct thread or 3-lug this suppressor to a firearm.

Great suppressor. Insure it with a piston on my GX4 with a lake line threaded barrel. With freedom munitions HUSH 9mm I was getting 110 decibels on the bench directly below me at around 3 ft while shooting. The first shot was a little loud like some of the reviews have stated but it immediately quieted down on the second.
I shot approximately 100 rounds with zero issues. Definitely recommend this one and cant wait to get it on some of my rifles ti see how well it does. If you can find it in stock this is a fantastic value in my opinion.

I love the R9. The only negative is they have gone up quite a bit in price. I am using it on a Ruger PC carbine. First time on the range and the guy next to me came over and asked if I was shooting a pellet rifle

Put this on a MPX K and love it. It’s quiet with 147 grain and very accurate on my Sig. use a trilug adapter to mount. Shooting silver dollar size groups unsupported at 25 yards. Love the look and performance and would recommend this suppressor.

I purchased for multi-cal use. I like it so far. Definitely worth the price.
Glock 47 9mm: little louder than a .22 with 115gr supersonic. Quieter than a .22 with 147gr and definitely 158gr subs.
300 blackout 8.5in barrel: 150gr supers louder than a 22. About the same as a 22 with 200-220gr subs.
22mag – dampens it and definitely quieter.
22lr high/standard velocity – load pellet gun
22lr subs – little loader than a red Ryder BB gun. Stupid quiet and fun.
5.56 – still load but not as loud.
Overall, I’m happy with it.

Is it the most quiet 9mm can? Nope. Will it survive a nuclear holocaust? Yup. Does it cost half of what the new hotness costs? Yup. Using it on a direct blowback PCC. Runs great. Sounds good. Not a ton of gas to the face. Great can at a great price.
