I use it on a 5.56 AR and a .308 Rem 700, and while it’s not one of the newest or most expensive suppressors available, it sounds great, especially the .308. No ears needed for either rifle, even with supers running through them.
It is a bit heavier than some newer models, and retains a lot of heat – you should definitely get a shroud for it if you are doing a lot of follow up shots (especially on an AR) or else it can cause heat mirage, and can be a pain (literally) to remove/use on another gun.
All in all it is a great value for the money.

My first NFA item. I love it. It is very rugged feeling. I am told it was designed for belt fed weapons and will not meltdown. The only downside is the weight. It is heavy compared to others but I guess that’s the trade off for being indestructible.

Well, it’s my first suppressor, so at the moment it’s my only suppressor. Chambered in 7.62, I have used it on a 5.56 rifle, 300 Blackout Pistol, .22lr rifle, 6.5 Creedmoor Bolt gun and a 6.5 Creedmoor AR-10 semiauto.. It is NOT user serviceable, so you can’t clean it.. Mfg says to shoot good quality 5.56 ammo and the heat will burn up ALL the dirt. Kinda a self cleaning system

Had an alignment problem, first time I shot it and destroyed the end of the silencer. Had my gun checked by my blacksmith and the silencer was not sitting on the coupler correctly, poorly built silencer. Tried to get it fixed and just got the run around. Still not fixed and just have a expensive paper weight at this point!! I would not recommend this company to any one!!!

While being an older can I purchased one last year. having currently only using it with standard velocity 223 it works fairly great. The major downfall is the day my FFL called me to pick it up was the day Remington announced yet another bankruptcy. Which reminded me that they had bought AAC years before. Seeing as PSA now owns the AAC brand and to my knowledge is not planning on making any 51T mounts they have become nearly impossible to find at anything close to reasonable prices. Now i am left with the nagging suspicion that i should have just bought the Bowers Vers 30T i wanted to begin with before the allure of QD invaded my brain.

Good can for the money, I think it gets you the most bang for your buck. There may be other cans out there that are a couple decibels quieter, but for the price difference this is the way to go. I didn’t give it 5 stars for two reasons, from what I can tell it cannot be taken apart to clean the baffling individually, and more importantly Advance Armament has gone out of business it seems being a sub of Remington that filed for bankruptcy. So no support will be given on these products as I have tried reaching out several times and the line is disconnected.

The pin that holds the ratchet lock in falls out during use which thankfully has only been in a range so I’ve been able to find it all 4 times that it’s happened…. Knowing now that AAC is out of business and then Remington buying them and now that Remington’s gone out of business/ sold off different parts of the company whatever sounds better.
I have no idea what to do other than spot welding the pin in place so it can’t come out anymore which in my opinion I should 1 have to do or 2 need to do since it’s a “class 3”.
Very upset I went with saving 200-300 dollars and now don’t feel comfortable or feel like it’s reliable when I go to use it.

I’ve been pleased. Makes full power 308 loads quiet enough to make hearing protection optional. Subsonic ammo, after an O2 clearing shot, is so quiet the firing pin spring makes more noise. I would have liked more thread engagement on the adapter: seems like a lot of unused area that could have been used for more threads is just an airspace. And the thread locker sent with it was completely solid in the tube, so I used some blue thread locker from my tools. So far, it’s a solid connection. Point of impact has no real change suppressed, which is nice.

The can did not come with the 51T muzzle mount. Over more, it’s next to impossible to find the 51T; nobody is making them anymore. I had to purchase a machines titanium 51T which was about 239 dollars.

I’d give it full 5 *s if AAC hadn’t quit.. I need more flash hiders and can’t find any so that pi**es me off somewhat.. Its a good suppressor in itself.. I’d liked it to have made my 223 a lil more quieter as it don’t really cut down on any noise.. Works great on my 300 BO and 6.5 Creedmoor..

I got the suppressor and attached it to A.R. 1518 inch barrel when I realize that after five shots something didn’t sound right. Oh I know I attached it to the AR correctly and it met all of the specs for the suppressor. Come to find out I clipped one of the baffles inside of the suppressor. Now before I bought this I was insured that it had a lifetime guarantee. Turns out that AAC is no longer in business and allOf their suppressors are no longer warranted. I guess I spent $1000 for nothing because now my suppressor has no guarantee and Palmetto State Armory who bought them out is not guaranteeing the warranty either. Next time I’ll spend the extra money and go for a better suppressor with a company that is still in business so I don’t get screwed.

Solid product. Precise, tight groups as good or better to before adding the silencer. The only issue is that unless both the adapter and the mating surface in the silencer are clean then the can tends to come lose. But as long as you install before shooting and clean between firearms it works great. And the sound reduction is amazing.

Tough can, well built. Makes my 9.5” 300BO sound like pellet gun with 220 grain subs loaded. Primarily use this for hunting on my .308 rifle loaded with 168 grain ballistic tipped supers. It’s hushed up so you don’t need ears, but it’s still loud even after a 24” barrel, I think.
